Look. Mun. I know you don't want to retire me from the game. And I don't want to be retired from the game. And that means continuing my and Gordon's story in some form.

But could you maybe, just once, have a plot idea that doesn't involve doing horrible things to me, Gordon, our children, or some combination of those three?

You know, I seem to recall that there were plans at one point for us to do something with PIaDOS involving bouncing around the world looking for survivors to reunite and seed vaults to utilize. Nothing wrong with a good extended travel arc.

We should probably consider building a proper community instead of just keeping everybody in Rowlesburg Below and the Greenbrier, though. As soon as it gets warm again.

And now that the Combine isn't an immanent threat anymore, we can get started on a proper communications network... maybe even piggybacking on their own infrastructure.

They've probably got a lot of data we could eventually access if we got hold of one of their larger data storage units and spent some time puzzling it out....

How much of it is stuff we actually want to know is another question altogether.

Of course, the real trick is going to be juggling all this and raising kids at the same time.

Our muns already wrote up their own version of Half-Life 3, since they got tired of waiting for Valve to figure out how to count past two. Now they're trying to figure out what happens next.

That AI's crazier'n a bag full of bats, but we need them seedbanks. Two for one, ma'am. I got to teach 'em how to handle themselves at sea somehow, and there ain't a whole lot of point to building a protective force if folks can't keep themselves fed proper. I reckon we'll probably need more than just me and the boat to git at those seed banks, anyways. Put the new boots on the ship'n throw in a couple of other Resistance folk to keep it balanced'n I'm out of your hair 'til we git back with whatever's left in Svalbard, or anywheres else.
