switchtail: (now what)

waffling on where to send this guy.

You mean it? You're really thinking about sending me somewhere? That's great! I mean, uh... Maybe. I don't know. Going to a new city sounds like it could be exciting! A city under the sea, though... That'd be pretty exciting too, I guess! I just don't know if that's the kind of excitement I want.

But I can always go somewhere else if I decide I don't like it, right?

... No?

What do you mean, that's not the way it works?

Some of the places around here can be very exciting but I don't live in a city under the sea so I can't say for sure.

No. Is it harder than a city in the sky?

There could very well be. I don't know for sure.

Get out while you can, bro. It's seriously munted in these places.

You know, fucked up and shit.

I'm sorry /not really

You must be very new to not know one of the important rules when it comes to our writers. They do love sending us to places that challenge us.

... But if my husband's complaints about it are anything to go by in concerns of this more modern Atlantis, perhaps somewhere more of carpe diem and less alea iacta est would be good for you?
retributior: (008. ✖ so it's time.)

{She gives a reassuring smile and a wave of her hand.} Don't worry. Find your footing and you'll get it in no time. Writers usually have a pattern when it comes to approaching new people they adopt. Usually.

Oh? It means 'the die has been cast' that is popularly believed to have been said by Suetonius to Julius Caesar. A point of no return at a certain point to make the explanation short.

Considering my writer's knowledge of the place and what may go down, it seemed like an appropriate thing to say.
retributior: (002. ✖ what you thinking.)

sorry this is so late orz

{ Oh dear. She hadn't meant to make him nervous. She sighs and feels bad for doing so. }

Now don't worry your pretty little head. It is why I think you should find somewhere more calm to settle in before, ah, going to other places. Look into other ways to talk to others like myself. Just don't worry, hm? I'm sure you'll be fine wherever you go.

Wow, you must be new.

[ELFA THAT IS NOT HOW YOU GREET OTHERS. /face in hands]

Unfortunately, once you're there you're stuck. It hasn't happened to me, thank god, but it's only a matter of time before she decides to send me some place.

As far as I know. It's either the place that decides when you leave or your mun.

Muns like to torture us. At least... if your mun is like mine.

[She's just giggling. Why? Because you look just like her cousin and her cousin would never sound so chipper. SORRY DUDE.]

Oh, nothing - [Say hello to a slightly international accent - mostly American, with an European inclination.] Well, not nothing, but you just reminded me of someone I know. It's kinda adorable.
