[Wow okay. He's not just going to poke you he's not a barbarian! What he will do is pull out his Pokedex though to see if he can get a read out on you. And unfortunately... it doesn't actually respond. Even after lightly tapping it a few times.

He doesn't really want to hurt the guy so he figures maybe a Pokeball might be enough? Yeah let's try that! Better get ready you platypus thing! Cause Red's throwing a Pokeball right atcha!]

[In an instant, Perry loses the vague sleepy look for one of alertness as the Pokeball comes for him. He leaps with a cartwheel (yes, cartwheel!) on his hands to get out of the way, bouncing off a tree with his webbed feet and landing in a karate stance. A fedora has somehow in the melee ended up on his head.]

[Well that little move is going to cause Red's eyes to widen. He's never seen moves like that before on a Pokemon.]

Wow... [He smiles a bit, even going as far as to give a light laugh. Usually he doesn't speak unless he absolutely has to but--] Hey. Nice hat!
