You're not my boss, but I'll give you one bit of advice, take it or leave it:
Don't decide on a muse because you feel guilty and that you've let someone down. It's the wrong mentality to go into it. If you want companionship, you have your other muses and even your friends outside of computer-land that you've been estranging yourself from.
...and your idea for a game sucks. Really.

omg! i have an account for odin's ravens on lj, so clearly i have to reply. XD
clearly you do! :3
She needs a guy willing to step back anyway. Not like I can do much with the game she has proposed anyway.
If you're looking for raven icons, I could link you to their journal? :o
Ah, yes. There seems to be, as my mun put it, "a bias against talking animals" in many games. I suppose it's just because they're so overrun with those humans and their creations and many forms that the idea of an animal talking is ludicrous or some such.
I'll check back with ya if I have trouble then.
[-cough-] I like to think I'm a special case anyway. Not the standard talking animal variety, you see.

...or lots of certain talking lions. Right?]
I didn't know there was a standard when it came to talking animals.

...
I was a man once. Not a good man, but a man. When I died, I was given a choice, which is more than most people get.
I'm now Matthew the Raven, companion of the Lord of Dreams. I guess. Not Matthew Cable. I haven't been that man for a long time.

...oh. Well, yes, I suppose that's quite different that what seems to perceived as nothing more than "talking animals."

Looks like we have something in common, aside from being talking birds.

Matthew, Matthew. Matthew. :) *Rusty muse is rust*
Talking it through with the other mundane would work too.
Holy--! Wow, I didn't expect this!
Sandman muses are good at lurking? I know I do it.
The results can be disastrous, but it isn't the end.
that's probably so. This is a brand new muse for me, so I wouldn't know yet.
This is true. The transitions are still hard, but it could prove interesting later.
I wish you luck, if it's a good fit, well, you'll know soon enough.
[She shrugs, clasping her hands behind her back and leaning forward.]
Or perhaps they're all different sides of a truth, given how you're only ever yourself.
Thanks. He's feeling pretty good, actually.
You're right, it's not the most reassuring thing to know, but it is what it is. The sky is the sky no matter how you look at it. Sand is sand. The Corinthian is The Corinthian.
That's wonderful!

whoo! the other lurker came too!
You mean the asshole. XD
Hey, all in good fun! One of my other muses is a notorious asshole
Assholes are fun, it's just he's probably on the extreme end.
No one deserves anything.
hey, we need extreme assholes sometimes.
Everyone deserves a chance.
To be honest, I think his personality is fine... it's just the association with his name :/
