You're not my boss, but I'll give you one bit of advice, take it or leave it:

Don't decide on a muse because you feel guilty and that you've let someone down. It's the wrong mentality to go into it. If you want companionship, you have your other muses and even your friends outside of computer-land that you've been estranging yourself from.

...and your idea for a game sucks. Really.

No, she likes me plenty. I think she only read the comics after a while because of me--can't imagine why. No, she's just feeling like she let a friend down because of issues, and wants to make up for it.

She needs a guy willing to step back anyway. Not like I can do much with the game she has proposed anyway.

Ah, yes. There seems to be, as my mun put it, "a bias against talking animals" in many games. I suppose it's just because they're so overrun with those humans and their creations and many forms that the idea of an animal talking is ludicrous or some such.

That's probably true. My boss certainly has nothing against it, and neither does this mun who just found me. The game has..talking ponies that fly, talking lions, and a couple other talking birds anyway. So she says.

It may not be the best method forward, but they're still trying it out. There's something to be said for taking that first step.

Talking it through with the other mundane would work too.

It's something many look for, yes. But look at this from another angle, there are sureties in life. There's no storybook script to follow, and you have to take the chance in order for something to happen.

The results can be disastrous, but it isn't the end.

that's probably so. This is a brand new muse for me, so I wouldn't know yet.

This is true. The transitions are still hard, but it could prove interesting later.
