I'll be home for the 4th Wall~
[...sigh. Giles takes off his glasses and massages his temples against an oncoming headache.]
Well...at least there are, um, less people for me to see than there once were. So you won't be drawn too far away from your studies.
I've missed them, all the same. You know I have and, um, quite frankly, I know you have. There are so many things I could say about, um, about how we're only causing them more pain by only bringing me back in such a temporary fashion, about how they've all hopefully moved on, but...
...it's not like they'll remember. Nor will I. Under those circumstances...I suppose it can't hurt. Much.
It will be nice to be home. I'm sure a great deal has happened for us to talk about, and it will be nice to catch up.
[It's not like anything exciting has happened to Giles in his absence. It's not like anything has happened to Giles in his absence.
Much as he's against the idea of what Angel and Faith are doing, it will be nice to be alive again for a couple of days, and nice to see the friends and family and others he'd left behind.]

/creeps all up in here
[ If only temporarily which will make it all the more bittersweet, but Helios knows how this works. He won't even get to remember it which is sad enough as is. Some people have taken a very long time to move on okay? Helios is totally not one of them, nope, he isn't. But he is going to be so glad to see you again Giles you probably have an idea. ]
You'll finally get to see the dragons though! Luminair and Maggir will be excited to meet you, I'm sure of it.
Mwahahaha!
[Oh, Helios. Giles musters a smile, but there's something inescapably sad to it.] I, um, I'm very excited to meet them. I confess, I'd forgotten that you'd come into possession of an egg.
[...] They're not giving you much trouble, then?
This is gonna be all the sads. )8
His own smile is very...sad. He laughs and shakes his head, running a hand through his hair as he does so. ] No. No. They're rather well b-behaved as far as baby dragons are concerned. I-I think Luminair has taken a fancy towards...um hoarding shiny objects though.
[ Because all dragons like the shinies. ]
Especially since I think Giles might figure out that it's temporary.
A typical dragon in many respects, it seems.
[Because all dragons like the shinies.
Which makes Giles think of the watch, which makes him ask the next question. It's a selfish thing to ask, really, because he really does want to know absolutely everything that's been going on in Helios' life since he was taken away, if only because...well, nothing, absolutely nothing, has been going on in his own. And it's probably pointless, just by virtue of the way Luceti works.
He asks anyway.]
Did, um...did anything of mine get...left behind?
[The watch? The boat? The guitar? Edna?]
Oh no. So terrible. x(
[ Ah Luminair. Never change. Helios blinks and then smiles warmly but it's still tinged with sadness and remembrance. ] The boat. It's still there. A-and I do take good care of it. I-I was going to try and make it fly with a project of mine. I-I'm not too sure how well it'll go over. Edna is also still in the house, well taken care of too.
[ As for the watch and guitar Helios isn't entirely sure. He never actually went through their things when he and Ginia left. ] I'm not too sure about the watch or guitar...
No wings, no survival in Luceti. It kind of follows 8(
[It's silly, perhaps, to be worried about a cat, to be worried about a boat, in the face of...everything. But the cat was a gift from a friend, the first pet he'd had since being a small child and the first truly helpless thing he'd ever let himself take care of.
And the boat...the boat came to represent so much that Giles couldn't bear to think that it might not be there anymore.]
A flying ship. I'm, I'm sure that will be a sight to see, one day.
...and I'm sure you'll find a way.
Indeed it does and Helios will probably notice too and be sad all over again )8
Y-You think so? I've been working on it for awhile now. No, um, such luck yet with it.
Re: Indeed it does and Helios will probably notice too and be sad all over again )8
[...] There's no hurry, Helios. [He, at least, seems to have time.
But maybe, one day, they'll find out that the way to escape was through the air all along...]
