On shifting to a new place and, well, the new alternate universe
So you know, I'm not really all that flattered. Really. I suppose behind the scenes I should be used to all these damned time paradoxes, but that still doesn't make it better for me and I don't understand why you take so much pleasure in it. It's really not encouraging to hear you tell me I handle it better than all the others that you have. Actually, I kind of preferred being on my own; I didn't have to put up with the constant idiocy that is Dante or his psychotic brother.
And yes, yes, I've been seeing all this talk how fantastic Vergil is another time frame. But when it comes down to it, he's still the same, isn't he? He's not exactly our anti-hero in the story line and never will be. So they have their little quirks, these alternates. They're still pretty much the same thing.
But when did anything I say ever stick with you? Ugh, just make it quick. Don't be so fickle this time around. Don't waste my time.
