On the series finale
Chin up now, son. My story is over, now, but I believe you will find that was the best way it could have ended. Those years with my son were more than I deserved: as I told him, it was stolen time. Now, it's time for me to move on, to new adventures and the most important task anyone has ever set out on. Who knows, I may even run into Olivia and Peter's great-great-great-grandchild while I'm there!
...But I do worry there may not be licorice in the future. Perhaps I should have written down the formula somewhere before Michael and I stepped through that portal.
