For starters, my name is Dr. Julian Robotnik, and you will address me as such. Secondly, I do not need a child mucking about my workshop playing with dollies or what have you and disturbing the process of rebuilding my armies.

[Alexis glares at him.]

I'm not a child and I don't play with dollies. I build and rebuild machines.

[He rolls his eyes again.]

Sure you aren't. I trade in highly complex robotics that would undoubtedly tax your young mind too much to comprehend. Why don't you go and play somewhere else lest my guardians classify you as a nuisance and deal with you accordingly.

Oh, I don't think MY guardian would like that much.

[And in flies Alexis' robot butler Woodhouse, who lands and stands beside Alexis firmly.]

[Robotnik presses a button on his pod-thing, causing a large trap door to open beneath him and a giant set of robotic armor to rise and engulf the pod. Once done, he aims a drill-spike arm at the robot and revs it up before his voice comes over a loudspeaker.]

You truly think that tin can could impress me!?

[Woodhouse automatically increases in size, and guns pop out of every part of his body that a gun could possibly fit in. Alexis looks worried...a robot battle was not something she wanted to go through at the moment.]

Hold it, Woodhouse.

[She looks up at Robotnik's robotic armor]

I'd rather neither my robot butler or your lovely mech-suit be damaged. Surely we can settle this like civilized geniuses?

[robo_egg]

[The robot's arms wave to mimic Robotnik's penchant for wild gesticulating.]

There is only one genius here, and a spoiled brat with an over-sized tinker toy!

[Dammit, Julian, your ego will get you killed one day.]

[Maybe, but today is not the day. Alexis doesn't want any such trouble right now.]

Fine, I'm an aspiring genius then. And I only wish to learn from the master...namely, you.

[That... okay, that's a new one. He's never been called 'master' before. He's obviously confused for a moment as the drills switch off and the robot freezes up for a moment. After the moment passes, the dome of the robot opens up to expose his pod.]

Hmph... I do not lecture like some tenured professor, but I suppose there's no harm in allowing you to disassemble one of my older works.

[He punches a few buttons and summons an older model of Buzz Bomber which then deactivates and clunks to the ground at her feet.] Just be careful with the power source. It bites.

Oh, thank you!

[Woodhouse deactivates as Alexis leans down to pick up the Buzz Bomber.]

I'll take it apart and update it into a new model! Something a little more chic!

[Eggman flies his pod out of the armor only to prompt a pair of arms extending from the pod, and busies himself doing upkeep on the robot. Gotta be in tip-top rodent squashing shape at any time, y'know.]

Just be sure not to loose the reactor. Squirrels are a pain to catch without killing them.

At least yours seems to have a basic grasp on the finer points of quantum engineering. Bring up anything remotely more complex than a pulley and he looks at me as if I were talking to that massive feline...

I have only had passing interactions with the thing, primarily out of self defense. Every time it speaks, I feel my mind gradually shutting down.
