yatagarasu: (PUMPED ☄ how much energy does she have)

how long has this girl terrorized my headspace

It's been almost three years since the Yatagarasu first conquered your headspace, Mun! We should celebrate!

...So what if it's still a couple of months away? And so what if you can't remember the exact day? We should throw a party! Where do you keep the party supplies?
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth grits his teeth and rubs his temple in irritation. (Why me?)

Is a party absolutely necessary, Kay?
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth points firmly at his opponent while shouting his point as special effects whoosh by! (OBJECTION!)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-14 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
OBJECTION! If the intention is to celebrate a particular day, should the celebration not at least be in the correct month?!
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth is side-eyeing you disapprovingly. (Unamused)

It's interesting how that qualification only materialized just now.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth crosses his arms and taps his finger on one of them. (Attempting patience)

Nngh... nevertheless, the proposed timing of this "party" leads me to suspect that you merely wish to have an excuse to be rambunctious at the spur of the moment.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth taps his temple, then grins victoriously. (Try using this)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-14 08:38 am (UTC)(link)
By your own admission, it's months too early. Days in one direction or the other can be excused by mere convenience, and in this case weeks can be excused given your lack of any record of the precise date; months, however, are too far removed from the time in question to be a logical association. Ergo, your timing is less related to honoring a particular moment and more to your own desire for a party.

[...Edgeworth, are you prosecuting her for wanting to have a party.]
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth recoils with gritted teeth and an angry expression, cravat fluttering in his wake. (Preposterous!)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-14 09:41 am (UTC)(link)
(Are Kay and my typist ganging up on me?!)

I-I merely fail to see why such... such revelry is the least bit called for at this point in time!
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth is rubbing his forehead with his fingers to stave off a headache. (Must I explain again?)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-14 10:07 am (UTC)(link)
Three years ago as of two months from now, by your own admission!
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth glares into the distance with a serious expression. (Glare #2)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-14 02:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I highly disagree with your definition of "close enough"!
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth crosses his arms and taps his finger on one of them. (Attempting patience)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-16 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Given that the exact day is unknown, I only insist that it be in the same month.
truthsnomiracle: Edgeworth is wearing an irritated, snobbish, offended frown. (Annoyed)

Er... (Blast.) The "party police", as you put it, typically will only intervene should there be suspicion of illegal substances, underage drinking, or if the party causes a disturbance of the peace, such as by involving music sufficiently loud to be a nuisance to the neighbors.
truthsnomiracle: (Smug and arrogant)

[personal profile] truthsnomiracle 2013-01-18 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
At the very least, the police will intervene should a party have illegal aspects or become a public nuisance. This will typically involve the substance abuse unit even if that particular subset of crimes isn't known to be involved, as substances that compromise judgment can often lead directly to annoyance of one's neighbors.

No, hence my qualifying the situations in which they would intervene with an "only" in response to your question.

[And this is an Edgeworth trying to hide his annoyance at being out-argued a few tags ago behind his general disapproval of parties.]

...Very well.

(Given that it took three weeks for her to continue this thread, my initial attempt to dissuade her has grown outdated to begin with -- even had she not seen through it.)

You're a yatagarasu?

Can I come to your party?
[And will there be food-*shot*]
