And so here we are. Once again, your life has reached the point where you wish to waste time pretending to be someone you could never be, not in a million lifetimes.

Not that I blame you for wishing your miserable excuse for a life was even one percent as exciting as mine. But, if you want to do this, you need to pull yourself together. None of this "well, we'll try it out for a while and see" nonsense. No. I demand and deserve better than that. You either commit yourself or you can forget about it. I'm tired of your constant inability to stay focused for longer than a few months.

Prove that this could be a long lasting means of entertainment for myself, and perhaps I'll consider giving you my blessing.

To which portion of my previous statements do you refer to with that? You're not incorrect to say that - we are creatures who rely on symbols to construct our world and have it make sense - but I couldn't make up being alive after you gave me a rather important gift on a bridge.
