I'm an asari, a sentient species from the planet Thessia.

[Liara hoped her translator didn't just spout out a bunch of gibberish. While the strangers language matched human english, asari and Thessia were probably still foreign terms. ]

I guess I could ask the same of you. You physiology seems more similar to humans than quarians, but your ears… are you what human lore refers to as an elf?

[As for the magic and mages, well, Liara thought it would be best to leave that topic alone for now. While biotics had been broken down to a science in her lifetime the rudimentary definition made it seem like magic.]

Yes, it is my race, and Thessia is located in the Parnitha System of the Athena Nebula in the Milky Way. I guess you could say we're distant neighbors.

[Assuming Fenris was from Earth in the Sol relay that is.]

Goddess, to encounter a race thought only to be the product of fiction, in my time, is quite fascinating.

[Liara was always a curious Asari, interested in gathering information ancient and new. While he was no Prothean, her topic of expertise, it would be a shame to pass on the opportunity to ask about a supposedly dead culture.]

Well it only seems fair, doesn't it? No one wants to be called Abomination all day. And Snookywookims has a nice ring to it. (damn Anders must have a death wish)
