Look, I don't remember things like this anyway because it's not important. So you've had me for a year and I'm another year older. It is nothing worth celebrating, as it is not a major accomplishment on either of our parts. The movement of time, basically takes care of both - provided we're both living. And it's hardly my fault you had to get ready to leave my city on the day you had planned to post this.
Of course I'm glad you took the time to come to my city and see all that it has to offer. And I'm most pleased that you tried not to be a 'tourist' about visiting. But don't get cocky, the only reason why so many people thought you were from London is that you actually knew where you were going, while they were busy being completely unobservant.
That said... those fics you plan to write - especially the one about my having a hairdresser - is totally uncalled-for! Just because you've been to my city does not mean you suddenly understand me better. I don't care that I might be tempted in the one you're thinking of about the tube. Or that I probably would be amused by the one you're thinking of writing about John's complaints about getting milk! The point is, you don't know me better just because you've been to my city!
