Maybe you should use some of that fourth wall meta that you've got going on now. The bad guy always loses and while I'm not one for such black and white terms as "good" and "bad," well. You know how it goes.

If the so-called "bad guy" always lost, that would get boring, no?

It does. So then they have to win in some miniscule way, like blowing up city hall or something and maybe killing the "good" guy's long-lost half-brother or the chick he met like, a week ago and is madly in love with. Then he falls to his knees and screams to the sky.

And then he gets revenge on the "bad" guy.

Anyway, that was a good story, I think. I could tell you another one, if you'd like.

I'm not the type for anything too fancy when it comes to that. Sometimes the most obvious method is the one that works best. I can't imagine he'd miss any part of himself more than that one.
