Besides, she doesn't have to use it often. The scary ladies leave us alone. Hey, have you tried talking to your scary lady? She doesn't actually turn people to stone just by looking, can she?

...oh! As long as Ran-chan is being careful and using it to protect you and the others, then I suppose it's fine.

And this Medusa... seems incapable of turning people to stone, although she can drain them of mana. Fortunately, I don't think any of us have what she's looking for.
