That's true, but it also means I didn't do my job. Being a sensei is about more than teaching young ninjas how to fight, it's about teaching them about why to fight, and who to fight for. If I couldn't show you that what you had here was worth staying for, and maybe even worth more than your revenge ... then I failed.
