*Collector gained an uneasy smile at that.* Yes! And then, when the world is old, it dies, like a person. Then the Vortex World is formed.

Not everything is like a person, though. Some things that grow old don't die...

I know. *Some demons, for one, don't seem to die. At least not of old age.* But the world does. Otherwise, I wouldn't exist! I can't live in the human world, normally.

*Yes, because the world being mortal invalidates that, clearly. Enoch isn't stupid, just scarred.*

That's good! I'm sure your world appreciates it. *It's said without any sarcasm or malice. Collector genuinely thinks Enoch trying to save his world is a good thing. After all, the Vortex World is not a very nice world, and Reasons can make even worse worlds.*
