No journey can be started without that initial step. And so it's fine... I'm more than glad to venture out to establish the Evangelion tag.

(He leans slightly closer, the distance bridged so that with effort they both could touch. Yet he refrains from doing so.)

I do not sense the same feeling from you as from my Angels, however.

... (Their proximity makes it easier for Amalthea to sense his powers. She is attuned to magic that is of a good nature - though her current form dulls her senses.)

I am not one of them. (Her voice is soft and her expression is thoughtful.) Can you break the spell on me?

(A pause of a few heartbeats. He appears lost in thought. ~~That would be beyond the powers of Tabris. But for Adam-- would it be like birthing the Angels, who chose their own form at the moment of creation? No, no, never to take the form of Adam again...~~)

I'm afraid not. It would be too dangerous to try this way. Do you know of no other way to reclaim that form?

Yes. (Her entire being pleads for him to find the answer. But she knows that a wizard cast the spell. Therefore, a wizard would likely have to break it.)

A wizard put this spell on me. He does not know how to break it. (She wraps her arms around herself, suppressing a shiver.)

(They do seem to enjoy putting others into the shape of humans.)

(Seeing her distress, he finally breaks the space of personal boundary and lays a comforting hand on her shoulder)

If it's knowledge that is the missing key, then perhaps your being sent out here is a blessing after all. Even if I do not have the answer, then perhaps it can be found with the other wanderers. There is the wisdom of many worlds to be found out here.

(There is no hiding her trembling when he touches her. She buries her face in her hands and tries to feel as peaceful as she once did.)

(A shimmer of light in her hair. He senses her relaxing against him. He is not experienced with human interaction, and she is not human-- yet, there is something that seems so poignantly fragile about her. A pause as he briefly exhales-- and begins stroking her hair)

There is someone that I wish to meet again. And a world that I seek, if it exists.
