But I'm hardly interested. As long as you remember what it is we must do, I'm satisfied with that. It may have been a couple years since the series ended, but that doesn't mean I won't continue to hunt criminals.

Nothing. It is nothing to me. Heroes cannot stop me, nor can children. You'd be much better off as a civilian, for if the Heroes continue to meddle, I'll have no choice but to fight back.

I understand what you think, but I don't understand why I should stop my job. I'm just making a living like everyone else, even if it involves being a hero.

What's it to you anyways? Do you care about them?

I care about ridding Sternbild of its filth. For too long criminals have roamed without punishment. Even Heroes praised for keeping the peace have a darker side to them that affects their loved ones.

If I didn't care for this city, do you think I'd be cleansing it of its evil?

[ Bringing a hand up, Lunatic activates a ball of blue flame, the light reflecting on his helmet. ]

The only true retribution that exists for criminals is through Thanatos. The current form of Justice in Sternbild only works to protect criminals, it does not punish them.

You sound like you need to see a therapist.

( she takes a step back, seeming more nervous than before. )

Any unsolved traumas causing this kind of thinking?

[ The vigilante lets out a low chuckle, adjusting his crossbow. ]

( she covers her face and curses herself for not well being in a good position. )

[ He tilts his head, lifting his crossbow to look it over. ]

Don't get ahead of yourself... I told you, didn't I? I have no interest in killing you unless you get in my way. Those who defend sinners are sinners themselves.

As long as you don't interfere with me while I offer ... retribution, then you'll be safe. That goes for the rest of the Heroes, as well.

In Greek mythology, the God Thanatos was Death personified. He is rarely seen, mostly referred to... For no one truly sees Death until it is their time, until he calls upon them.

[ He wags a finger at her. ]

It would do you well to pay more attention in school. You may learn about this.
