On a pending game and app currently being written
It's about time mundane! I wanted a game ages ago and you finally found one just for me. And it's a game about a game no less. It's perfect. I get to play and not be bothered by anyone. No Justice League. No Light. Just me, Teekl, and the chaos doing anything I want. Perfect. I might forgive you for taking so long then if you get that app done now. I don't want to be kept waiting anymore.
You hear me? I want that app done tonight! Tonight! Not tomorrow! Not next week! Tonight! Get to work! You don't have time to just sit around and do nothing. Those tags? They can wait. I'm more important. Get that through your head. I'm the most important muse you have right now. Name anyone more important and I'll just turn them into a rat and feed them to Teekl.
Deal? Good. I'm glad you agree. I'll be waiting.
This is going to be so much fun~

[Teekl meows at him.]
Oh right! The girl who put on the helmet. I remember you now. Baby magic~

[Suck it, Klarion.]

Keep telling yourself that.

And then we stopped you again. Face it, Klarion, we beat you.

[Basically, she doesn't believe you.]

[He summons a large fireball and launches it at her.]
no subject
Really, Klarion?
We're doing this here? Now?
no subject
[He holds out his hands and launches two bolts of red lighting at you now Zatanna. Seems he really is wanting a fight.]

[The spell is weak and rushed, fueled more by instinct than careful planning. It shields her from the full brunt of the attack, but she is still thrown back several feet from the recoil. Moaning in pain when she hits the ground at an awkward angle.]
[Recovery would not be a luxury she could afford, and so it was with a still-spinning head that she raises a hand, still on the ground, and calls out a counter-attack. A furious gust of tornado-speed winds erupt from the ground, sending all kinds of rocks and shrapnel flying his way.]

Yawn. Is that really the best you can do?

[She's not even going to dignify him with a response. Only another attack, this time while on her knees, winding up with all the fury of a winter blizzard. Pelting them both with the frigid hail, though moreso him than her, while simultaneously blanketing the area in a haze of white.]

[He raises his hands and moves them around. Snow starts to collect in front of Klarion and forms a snowman. Though this snowman has ragged ice teeth, sharp ice claws, and begins to move once it completely forms.]
Go rip that girl to shreds!
[The snowman slides across the snow and goes into the haze, dark coal eyes searching for the hero magic user.]

[Her first thought was to summon a blaze, but it was her own initial spell that diminished the flame too much to have any real effect; she slowed down the creature for all of three seconds. An important three seconds, however, as it gave her time to put a bit of distance between them. Formulate a plan.]
[Guh. Plans were so not her thing. Where the heck was Aqualad when you needed him?]
[Ice. Snow. Blizzards. There had to be some way to use all of this against the Abominable SnowBeast.]
[Remaining low, she pressed her palms together, eyes practically glowing as she summoned all the power she could muster for a major attack. When they separated, both held out directly in front of her, the oncoming blast was so frigid that it would hopefully solidify the remaining molecules into an immovable structure.]
[She was essentially attempting to refreeze it.]

Off in the distance, Klarion was clapping and reached up to pet Teekl. The cat was now draped over his shoulder like a scarf.]
So you broke him. Big deal. I can just make more. [And true to his word he waved his hand and three more snowbeasts formed in the snow.]
See?
no subject
[But she had a formula now. Melt. Refreeze. Repeat. They were the same beasts, so it would make sense for the same trick to work.]
[Right?]
[Unfortunately, the repeated summonings were starting to take their toll on her. She was far from done, but her breathing was growing noticeably more labored.]
no subject
[The monsters came for Zatanna and as she repeated the process she got the same result. Melt. Freeze and they would shatter. It wouldn't take her long to kill all three.]
If you don't like them you just have to say so! [He begins to form more fireballs and just starts to lob them into the snow, hoping one of them will hit her.]
no subject
But the third one struck her in the shoulder. A clip, but enough to let out a sharp hiss of pain. She clutched at the wound, falling to her knees almost immediately. Around her, the storm slowly began to subside. Weakening as the pain gradually took over.]
no subject
You can't beat me. You're a weak little girl with baby magic and it's all you're every going to be.
no subject
[Not that she would ever give him the satisfaction of admitting it.]
Shut up.

[It was moments like these when one can recall just how incredibly young and/or childish they both could be.]

It was giving me a headache.
[Obviously, she doesn't seem to care that he just beat her in a fight. Best Life Decisions, right here.]

[He'd do it. There wasn't a single doubt in her mind that he would and could.]

...this isn't over.
[But already, she's struggling to get up so she can leave. She's had enough of you, too.]
