Fed up with being dead.
[folds arms over chest and frowns. Britt is not a happy camper.]
My dear mun, I realise that you like to plan certain RP things out in advance; as a communications program, I understand the value of proper organisation. What I don't understand is why you keep making excuses for keeping me dead.
[frown turns to a pained look, his tone pleading]
Can't you just...let me rezz in for the party? I have no compunctions about stumbling into the middle of it blindly, really; I can always meet Clu and Esme later. I'm sick of sitting in the musespace while you stomp all over Kato's emotions. Have a heart, will ya?
....please?

Though, not being on the Free Grid at the moment does have a few advantages, given that my mun is planning to drop in a certain extremely fragged-off mirror universe virus into the system tomorrow.

Knowing my mun, she'll probably find some way to throw my partner straight into the thick of things. I have nightmares about that, y'know, and we never went near Bostrum while that glitch was infecting people.

Well, if it's any consolation, the situation, and the virus himself, are slated to be contained fairly quickly. The only ISO slated for a pre-containment encounter is Giles, whom everyone pretty much agrees deserves it.

Well, I suppose it's a tiny consolation...kind of harsh on this Giles character though, isn't it? Even if he does supposedly deserve it.
[Didn't Kato mention a Giles once? Being dead has made his memory circuits a bit degraded.]

According to my mun, Giles is 'as nutty as a fruitcake', whatever that is.
But anyway given that, where he's from, he's kinda an ISO version of the other Clu- personality-wise if not power-wise-, I don't think too many people will be sparing him much sympathy. Especially given that the anti-vial everyone was exposed to during "Project: Rainstorm" renders this version of Abraxas alot less dangerous, thus making certain Giles'll survive his encounter and live to be a glitch another millicycle.

[pats Britt's arm] At least you do get to come back, right? [more than Ram knew the first time he died.] Much as I agree that certain muns really ought to have a heart...~ your friend'll be all right. I've got someone in my musespace who's watching out for him a little.

All right. You say Kato'll be safe, I'll believe you. I won't promise not to worry, though. I'm dead; worrying is pretty much all I can do.

I already came back to life once, and had to be shoved back in the musespace for rewriting. Death is boring. That little taste of freedom wasn't enough, especially watching the stuff mun writes. I think she's ignoring my screaming at this point.
[sighs again, and pats Ram's shoulder.]
...Thanks.

As for the virus Clu mentioned - well, one of the other muses in here will be involved in the virus-herding, and the programs involved have all got practice by now. Mirror!Abraxas shouldn't bother you if you stay out of the way.
[Someone is very pleased about the anti-virus rain. No more worries that some version of Abraxas will infect Kade again.]

I miss him too. First thing I'm doing is hugging the bits out of him - even if he does give me a broken nose first.
[glares in the direction of his mun. She's entirely too fixated on that potential outcome of the reunion plot for his liking.]
...[a look of concern] Something occurs to me, though. What if a program rezzes in after the anti-viral was delivered? [Not that he's concerned for his own health or anything.]
no subject
I can't say for sure, but I suspect he'll be happy enough to have you back that he won't break your nose.
[shrugs] As for the rain, I'd imagine that they'd make it a regular thing - every decicycle, say - for those who rez in afterwards.
Huh. I should get my mun to make Alan or Anon or somebody mention that. Maybe at the party.
no subject
That sounds like a good idea. I can't be the only program who's worried about it. [pause. While informed is forewarned, using Alan Bradley to do it...]...Maybe one of the other Users would be better. Alan's mirror probably wrecked a lot of programs' trust in him in regards to updating their code.
no subject
Never mind. Anon's due to get high on sugar with Livian, and she's probably the best person to mention it to anyway.
no subject
It's only natural to worry about people you care about.
[He's finding that out more and more the longer he's on the Grid.]
