With a new year comes a new challenge. My journey with young Mister Baggins continues as does your scribblings as to where I go next concerning this place I am in. Do not forget that my focus is upon the mission. Nay, I will not be swayed by your musings of late. Yonder lands do take us to far away places and I will not loose sight of my journey.

Taking back Erebor and reclaiming back what is ours. You may throw me into a far corner of some forgotten place but I will be ready for the fight. I always am. Young Mister Baggins must be protected above all else, scribe. For it is he who will be our burlgar once we find our entrance in the Mountain. Not awakening Smaug will be ideal but unlikely. A fight will soon happen for I can taste the ere bitterness on which time that will fall.

Nay, I will not be swayed by pass musings of yours, scribe. A new year and a new journey. Aye, let me reclaim my kingdom and avenge my father and his fore fathers. The Mountain is closer everyday.

I am Thorin, son of Thrain. Soon to reclaim Erebor back from those who took it.
