Moved here, game-seeking. Muse is thoughtful.
Miss Mundane,
I know you're very dedicated to my AU, moreso than even the creator of it. I appreciate your support, I truly do. Very few people believe me when I say I've changed or are willing to even hear me out. That is my primary concern here. I don't know what kind of game would take me. I'm not sure what use I could be in a game if we cannot find people who are willing to look past who I was. And I am especially nervous of running into those from the 'proper' canon Marvel universe, because I know they dealt with the monster of a man I was in their world.
But I'm willing to try if you are. Everything happens for a reason. God did not spare me from the ice so that I could sit here and do nothing when there are people and places that need help. All I ask is that you look into games very carefully. This is not a thing to be undertaken lightly. After all the continual rejections and inability to play me you encountered on LiveJournal I'm astounded we're even trying for another round. Just please grant me the favor of not throwing me at every Steve Rogers you come across. The Rogers I knew was a madman. The Schmidt he knew was worse. It's not 'interesting conversation'. It's just awkward for both of us.
I do appreciate your efforts to learn more about my language and country, though. I'm not sure it's necessary - I'm quite proficient in English, especially after my time in the Allied Forces and SS - but it's a kind gesture. And other muns are not so gentle with their muses. Do try to get some rest tonight, though. The games will be there when you awake, I assure you.
Sincerely,
Johann F. Schmidt

My problem is that the 'me' that most are familiar with never did half the things I've done.

The version of myself most people know has done the opposite of what I've done. It's all a bit hard to explain.

May I ask your name, Miss?

How've you been, Loki?

[ he shrugs, scoffs. how've you been, he says. ] Oh, you know how it goes. One day they let you enjoy a nice cup of tea, perhaps get a little tidying around the house done, and the next day they're sending you off to a survival death match populated by many of the ones who'd be a little more eager for your head than others.
I believe the word is peachy, mister Schmidt.

You need not fear, I've not been sent off yet. But the promise has been made, so it is inevitable. [ and another shrug. ] I presume it to be more of a spectator sport.

It's a sick and twisted spectator sport. I worry for you so long as such a deal has been struck. Will you at least retain your magic?

Unfortunately, the rules are quite against me as well. I shall be little more than a mere human. My apprehension, I hope, is understandable.
