[There's a sneer with the words, and really why does this have to be so blatantly fourth-wall breaking? Why does nobody let him kill anyone when this happens?
[Yori doesn't expect to be happy with anyone at all over any part of that mess, including Tron for pushing himself too hard. But at least there are better things to look forward to when it's done.]
[She extends her left hand to capture Tron's right, not sure herself if it's an invitation to snuggle, should he wish, or if she just needs the point of contact as reassurance he's still with her. Smiles at him, in either case.]
[Giving Tron her hand is giving him an excuse to kiss her fingers and shift off the idea of that bit of the future, thank you very much. Hope you don't need that hand back anytime soon, Yori.]
[Definitely a good way to keep that smile around. When Tron switches from kissing to complaining, Yori tugs his hand to her own mouth to return the favor. There's a definite promise in her sidelong look, before she turns to the practical objection.]
If I can't manage designs we can both fight in, we'll leave them home. But it's a party. Seeing you in something just a little less black would set a better tone.
Don't worry. I'll take your need for sneaking off in the shadows into account too.
[His look is still somewhat sour. Can't distract him that easily, and he's never been that enthusiastic about setting aside the battle armor. It's always felt too vulnerable.]
White sort of silly anyway.
[Beck definitely demonstrates that. Poor beta. What was his alternate thinking?]
White is certainly eye-catching. If you happen to like that sort of thing. Never thought I'd hear of a version of you that reminded me in any way of Eckert and Zuse.
But no, I was mostly thinking of a simple overlay to match whatever I come up with for my own armor. You should be able to camouflage as normal, or remove it from your armor if there's need. If I can't make it do something that simple, you don't have to wear it in public.
[Yori is just as aware as Tron of the chances that any gathering will draw some form of attack. Doesn't mean they have to give up having fun before it happens.]
What you might wear in private, on the other hand, I hope we can negotiate further sometime.
Think fast! [have a jai-alai ball, one of the new persistent ones you don't need a cesta to handle, flying straight at your head.~ Someone prefers the direct approach. >D]
[Tron snatches it out of the air and blinks at it for a moment. The impact stings a little-- Ram had a pretty good throwing arm. After a moment, he smiles, shakes his head, and tosses it back. Also at Ram's head.
Hey, you're the one who seems to have picked dodgeball, Ram.]
The return throw had been expected, of course, so Ram merely grins devilishly and tilts aside. It bounces off the wall behind him, losing little speed or momentum (what fun would that be?), and he whacks it with his gauntlet as it passes, ricocheting it off a side wall and back at Tron.]
[Nice one! This time Ram waits till it bounces off the wall and then gives it an angled strike for a two-point ricochet at Tron's back -- if it gets through.]
[Do you know who is not the least bit intimidated by a grumpy murdercat? If you guessed the ISO duckling that has just barreled into you and is making like a babby lemur, you would be correct. If you didn't guess the ISO duckling that has just barreled into you and is making like a babby lemur then here, let her clarify her lack of intimidation by all but climbing on you.]
Tron! TronTronTronTronTRON!~
[Starting to think that someone might have missed her Mama Bird.]
[Tron ruffles her hair and smooths it back down with one hand, the other firmly wrapped around the chattering beta. For once, he doesn't even care that the crooning purr has started up again.
[Just going to stand a fair distance back, intimidated and creeped out. Last thing he wants is your disc at flying for his head because he knows damn well he'd lose that match in three picoseconds.]

[Just gonna. Stay out of range while making sure he can be heard.]
It's not all it's cracked up to be. Trust me.
no subject
No.
[Have an eyeroll. That might have been the dumbest thing you've said in a while, Clu.]
no subject
...To which?
[He never could resist pushing it.]

[There's a sneer with the words, and really why does this have to be so blatantly fourth-wall breaking? Why does nobody let him kill anyone when this happens?
He owes you at least that after all.]

[A sigh, rueful acceptance of things that can't be changed.]
At least by now you will have been recovered for a while, once they sort things out.
Planning to come to that party? It won't be nearly as much fun for me if you're not there.
no subject
[He shakes his head and sighs. Not looking forward to that repair, no.]
Was going to, yes. [He offers her a smile.] Won't work too much.

I'll remember you said so. How about new outfits?
no subject
Yori. Attack still possible.

All right.

[She also suggested winding up Beck, but knows that Beck's mun is having a hard time with internet right now.]

[Winding up Beck is the best Game, but this real life stuff has been annoying all around.]
Miss seeing you around too.
