paroozing games like
sirenspull. let's see where this takes us
So that's it, is it? Lightening fast, you're trying make up your mind about with sort of game you want to send me off too. You're being a bit hasty, if you want my opinion-- [who doesn't?] even if you have got another month before applications resume at that Port place.

ew gross it's you
you know you love me
[Her lips purse somewhat.]
It's not on the top of my list of priorities, but I apparently can't have a say in the matter at all.
meh
Re: meh
It sounds very dangerous- the Port. I've heard it crawls with horrible creatures at night.

We haven't seen everything yet.
Really Su, there's a time and a place to be negative.

[Like she hasn't said that before.]

It doesn't mean that we have to like it very much, though, does it?

There are times we may not.
[ He can't really say he approves of ALL his mun's choices, but. ]
We must make the best of the circumstances we are given.

You're right, of course. [Still makes him uneasy and a little frustrated, though.]

It may be there is a purpose for our displacement.

Indeed.
[ Aaaand because they haven't spoken in a while: ]
How do you fare, my son?

But... that all stays with him. No need for the others - no need for Aslan to hear about his foolish and rather vain sorrows.]

He nods once, in understanding. ]
It is the same in many places.
[ Though Peters no longer bears the burdens of a King of Narnia -- or at least not in his world and time -- there are other matters that may preoccupy his thoughts. ]
What troubles you?

For some, a grassy meadow may be as difficult to cross as a mountain.
[ Gently: ]
Even kings may have their share of troubles.
[ aka, 'you can't fool me son so you might as well come out with it'. He won't hold it against Peter if he doesn't tell; it's an invitation to express himself and nothing more. ]

[Don't mind him, Peter, gloating is pretty much his default setting.]

....hope you don't mind sdfsd

are you kidding? sidle on in, stranger, it's been too long
he really shouldn'tis just what he does. Kid needs a new hobby. Something to occupy his time.Cross-stitching, perhaps.]
So. You're the Great Lion they all talk about.
dhfkj hi there c:
You probably don't need that kind of lesson, though, do you, David? ]
I am.
long time no see :D
Because that worked so well the last time someone tried.Though, admittedly, you're a way different animal than Jake. Even he has to admit that, however grudgingly.]
You don't look so tough. I bet I could take you.
[But he doesn't sound too sure.]
I knoooow omg. how have you been?
Exceptionally well.Aslan doesn't answer, golden eyes fixed intently on the young man. Though he is lion in shape, there is a great deal more to him than may be readily apparent, and it shows in the intensity of his stare.
Do you really want to challenge a being as old as Time itself? ]
pretty good! floating around here, around memes, you know how it goes. what about you?
It doesn't last for long. Aslan is more than a lion, and whatever he is, he's not something David can face for long. Staring at him feels like he's being pared down to his essence, like those golden eyes can see straight down to the heart of him. It's an uncomfortable feeling, and finally he has to break eye contact and look away, down to the ground.]
What are you? [There's petulance in his voice, but there's fear now too.] You're not just a lion.
i'm good! in a couple games, poking around here occasionally, etc. c:
His gaze does not waver; nor does his expression. ]
I am the Son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea.
i heard from a little birdie slade's back in action, y/n?
Emperor-Over-the-Sea? I thought you were the Emperor-Over-the-Sea.
[Between running amok on Narnia and
trolling Peter something awfulhe's picked up bits and pieces. But he still didn't think you were real.]yyy I re-apped him at tlv. he's been at sirenspull for over 2 years now though.
[ World Maker, Singer, Champion of Those Who Are Good, Conqueror of Evil Witches...and so on. ]
It is as I have said.
[ He is the Son, but there will come a time when titles will no longer be needed.
aka Creators and Their theology are generally a bit complicated.]2 years, geez, that's almost as long as i've been playing david! will have to stalk tlv threads tho.
Why did you choose Peter to be High King of Narnia? He's not the strongest or the fastest.
[Unsaid, but hanging off his tongue, is the implication that he would make a better king than Peter.
Whether he actually believes that is another matter.]
he is a old muse now, yis (as is this lion here). c: perhaps we shall play together again someday
[ Being the "strongest" or the "fastest" means little if you care for no one but yourself. ]

Here, have a little brother-king! *throws Ed at Pete*
[He is beginning to truly realize how forunate he is to be with his Mun, she at least listens to him sometimes. And considers his words. Although sometimes her decisions aren't made when she is as clear-headed as she could be.]
Ah, mun troubles. Many of them do not seem to seem to take our concerns seriously. Mine at least is considerate sometimes... Although I shudder to think what kinds of games she may place me in...
