Voice Testing an Old Muse
I am quite glad that you have decided to try your hand with me once again. It has been quite a long time you let me out, has it not? Not that I resent you for that, you needed take time away from all this.
[She pauses and brings her hand to her chin, thinking over her next words which come out in a tactful but direct manner.]
Now that we find ourselves starting anew, perhaps I may request that you find us a game. Preferably one were my skills would be of use, you know I'm not the sort to sit patiently and let things happen.
But I would also ask you not rush into things too quickly...I know first hand the sort of things that can happen if one lets themselves get caught up in the moment. I do not want to rush into the first interesting game, only to find ourselves disappointed within a week. You must find a balance of determination and caution.
