I can see through your attempts to tell me that your holding off is a compliment because you trust that I'll be ready at any point in time. Really, it is a bit easy to be offended by such a move. Especially when one of the reasons you cite is in favor of sending Felix somewhere. I honestly don't care that it's a much more horrible place than the one you'll be leaving me. It still stings a bit.

I'm not sure if it's quite to the level you seem to be implying. However, considering Felix is the only other person I'm truly familiar with, I felt it was rather noteworthy. [Since that kid from 30 years in the future definitely has nothing to do with him, nope...]

Well, it's about time Felix got some attention, I think. It's also pretty funny, though - the great Alex, annoyed because Felix is getting sent to a game before him!

Considering I've already been to three games [That AU game totally counts >_>], I assure you that is not the problem at all. It's being promised something only to have her go back on her word. And one of the reasons she has done so is to favor a former traveling companion. Surely you can see why I felt it was worth pointing out.

That would be a disaster just waiting to happen, plus he's already gotten in your way once.

He doesn't seem like the most useable entity for anyone in these circumstances. Really, it took long enough for Weyard's scholars to grasp even a bit of information about him.

Besides, I doubt any of his worthwhile powers would even be allowable. Seeing him in one of these places would be quite the waste of time.

I'm afraid I don't know which "tune" you're speaking of. But I believe having more time to think was part of her logic. That it, it would be if she weren't impulsively sending Felix to the same place as you. It's really rather ridiculous.

I believe you fail to understand my point. If she is truly taking time to consider things, why is she behaving more rashly than even Felix himself?

And I don't see how it's a bad decision. If she had to send him somewhere, at least she picked somewhere that he's got a friend to look out for him. She's just taking time to consider things with you - that doesn't mean she can't do other things at the same time.

It is a poor decision because she is risking taking on more than she can handle. She already has another in the place she intends to send me, and she feels like she's not as accustomed as she'd like to be. How does a new place entirely differ from a second person in the same one?

It gives her more time to settle into the first place with her first person before having to balance two people there. Not to mention, you're more of a handful than Felix and the new setting are combined. With more than one location, she can switch between them if she's feeling burnt out on one or the other. If she had two people in only one place, she wouldn't be able to do that.

Well, it would depend on what they were going back on, right? I mean, I'm perfectly fine here in my mun's headspace, so if she told me that she was going to send me somewhere and then changed her mind, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

[Especially if he was gonna be going back to that damn tower. He only spent less than two months there, but that was enough.]

I'm perfectly content here as well. However, after multiple attempts at finding a proper "home" for me, I believe irritation is to be expected. How am I to know when to prepare with such a fickle person pulling the strings?

A town called Exsilium. She believes I need a more in depth story to truly last in these places. Though her previous attempt failed because her own attention dwindled, so there's no way for her to truly know for sure.

Exsilium, huh? That's kind of a nice name. [A beat.] So I imagine it must be pretty hellish over there.
