Though I don't think you should be so hard on yourself when you get negative feedback; you aren't being reprimanded, nor are you being criticized. It's always good to have someone give counterarguments so you can flesh out your ideas more. It'll leave less room for problems in the future if you figure out the nooks and crannies now, right?
