thoughts after a rewatch of the lord of the rings

They were gallant knights. Men of honour, always fighting against evil and doing good. They were very brave indeed.

But those were only stories. You can't believe what they say.

[ there is no honour left in westeros. sansa's father had possessed it, and he had been killed for it. gallant knights and chivalry are the domain of stories and songs alone. ]
