Yeah. Sure. That was probably before Emma pretty much mindkilled him and left him barely more than a child mentally in the middle of a warzone. He's wiped, okay. He's not a threat to anyone.

That's good. Not sure how strange it would be to go to that place if it actually existed. [Victor nods.] Yeah, its probably not going to. Most you can hope for is to be sent some place that isn't completely insane unless you don't mind being bored in the headspace.

Only problem is it's next to impossible to find a place that isn't ten brands of crazy from the get-go. Bit sad, really.

Hey, now, Hope's not that bad. Spunky, yes, but a hell of a lot better in comparison to some others.

The one you normally see 'round here hasn't gotten there yet, and maybe she never will. But it was only a little bit ago that another one came by, set an' determined to start the slaughter. I couldn't talk her out of it, I couldn't keep her from gettin' away...

It'd take a Nate to get through to that girl. Hell, you might've been a better option than the old one for doing that.

See, that's why you have to settle for ten brands of crazy and hope they don't send you to one that's twenty or worse.

I'd say places where you're used as a lab rat or a hotel that forces you to have sex are good places to start.

And that's why you're the one with a chance at getting through to her. [Bishop was completely unapologetic about putting the world first, with Hope's happiness as a useful byproduct- but he's prepared to admit it'd take more than that to get her to drop the BS now.
