Mine still isn't certain that I'm acting like myself. She's making plans to send Alex somewhere, though, which I doubt would go well for anyone involved.

I don't know. It's probably not important. I've noticed this mundane has a habit of worrying. She might send me somewhere some day if she's confident enough.

I would like to see what's going on in some of these places. It sounds like there are a lot of places where people are struggling.

...yours does too? Mine says things are more... umm, interesting, in places like that. But I think there's a difference between "interesting" and "absurdly dangerous," and a place where you risk dying on a regular basis leans more towards "absurdly dangerous."

That's true. It would be better if we were in a group, but I think any of us could make a difference on our own if we had to.

I think it's something everyone has in them to a certain degree. Being Adepts likely helped us a lot, too. [Yeah, those kinds of experiences definitely make a difference later.]

It wouldn't surprise me if Psynergy had something to do with it. Alchemy drives the growth of civilization and helping people is what civilized people do, right? And Psynergy is a product of Alchemy.

Like I said before, it's not something I would wish on anyone... Maybe not even on someone I disliked, and especially not on someone I cared about. [Hee, January can be a test run to see how a character from Golden Sun would manage in the Tower! Psynergy might function differently there or not at all so it might affect how a Golden Sun character could be played. BUT HEY IF APPING DID HAPPEN IN FEBRUARY, THAT'D BE PRETTY AWESOME...]

That's... a relief. [Small smile.] I've depended on your kindness a lot in the past. It's good to know that I can still count on it, at least a little. It makes me feel a little more comfortable about all this.

They probably came up with Psynergy to help people in the first place. Some people just became too interested in its power. [Like a certain blue-haired jerk who is way too comfortable in this headspace.]

You're right, nobody deserves to go to a place that for any reason. It doesn't sound like we really have a say, though. [Yes, I can hopefully remember to stalk! Because I am dumping Alex on people in January so need a little time to settle in. A month totally works!]

I wouldn't want anyone that's suffering to be unable to reach out to someone, especially not someone I've been through so much with.

There are lots of things in the world that can be used for either evil or good, depending on who the user is. [Did Sheba ever mention how incredibly grateful it is that it was Felix who came to talk and not Alex? Because she is totally grateful. It must be hard, sharing headspace with him.]

Do we ever, with these people? They pull our strings as easily as the Wise One did... only, sometimes it seems as if they don't have anyone's best interests at heart at all. The Wise One's methods were... [She wrinkles her nose.] You would know best of all. But at least there was a purpose to them. I have a hard time finding any sort of reasonable purpose in the things these people do... [...oops, I totally want to lurk wherever you end up sending Alex because that should be really awesome.]

I'm not sure if it's better or worse that these people know they're making things more difficult than they need to be. That's exactly right. I think, overall, though, that people who can use Psynergy well are basically good, at least deep down. Even... [She frowns very softly.] Alex's actions were mostly self-serving in the end, but he did want to light the Lighthouses. Alchemy may never have returned to the world if not for that, and we both know what would have happened without it. I like to think that there's at least a little good in him somewhere, even if it's hard to find. [That doesn't mean she'd ever want to share headspace with him though. Some small amount of good or no, Alex is aggravating.]

There has to have been some other way... [She can usually gauge peoples' intentions by using Mind Read. It's funny, really, that the Wise One never thought to do the same. There were two Jupiter Adepts in their party by the end of it all who were both very accustomed to allowing other Adepts to read the minds of others alongside them; it would have been a very simple matter to read the minds of the entire group while laying a hand on the Wise One so he could hear their thoughts and see their intentions as well. She thinks, anyway.] It's at least good that they're not doing terrible things while in the guise of being saviors. Mine, at least, has never claimed that she's trying to send me to this tower for my own good; she just says she thinks it'll be "interesting." [Oooh, I've seen a couple of posts from people at that game before. Ican'twaittolurk.]
