new muse.
I shouldn't be surprised, nor should anyone - really. You're exhibiting typical behavioural patterns. I must say you do harbor a certain preoccupation with my character.
Do take precaution.
I am quite a subtle man.
[ subtlety doesn't work that way, sherlock ]

An interesting comparison. Do you take to sarcasm often?

And there, you've proven a point with your sentence alone. A message can be the same but a choice of pencil is a mark of a person as well. Also you fail to consider how the word was written, how the person interprets it's delivery in the sharpness of it's word. They are two very separate things, Man Watson.

Man Watson. That's my name now, is it? Man Watson. How am I supposed to interpret that delivery, pray tell.

Well, to a degree. Not everyone can be exceptional.
no subject
And not everyone can think above what their backgrounds dictate to them. Ah. Again, it is all reliant on the separation of the truth and the truths the purveyor wishes to believe.
And do you consider yourself upon that bracket of exceptional individuals?
no subject
[ the same could be asked about you, but introspection isn't something you indulge in either, is it? not the sort people demand you try, anyway. don't do what everyone else does, it's a disappointment. ]
The pitfalls of assuming - mm, our word of the day - a certain perspective is the inescapable limitations of it. One can't just fake the view without the immersion.
no subject
Perhaps, that is why then experience is the best teacher.
[ a pause. ]
One can fake anything if he sets his mind to it. Is that not the point of lying? I could pretend to be an expert of pigs by simply dropping a few facts here and there and speaking with utmost confidence. Perspectives and assumptions can be wrong.
no subject
Lying for the sake of lying is not only inefficient, it's unnecessary. In and of themselves, yes, opinions can be and often are inherently wrong, but the details surrounding the opinions cannot all be absolutely wrong, can they? No, there's always something, at least the one thing that will be based on hard fact. One simply has to navigate through the rest of the nattering and come to the correct conclusion.
And how is your companion doing?
no subject
Much better than your companion. I heard you left Johnny in quite the state.
[ he's getting high and mighty because reichenbach hasn't happened to him quite yet, no. he and joan are just taking the baby steps in that direction as far as camaraderie is concerned. ]

Alive is better, Shirley. Even you - especially you - wouldn't refute that.

Triviality. And yours wasn't hired by daddy, I presume?

If I ask you for an example of what you think its subtle I bet it's going to be like breaking into someone's home and wiping your shoes before leaving. Or something.
no subject
Well, I'd be an awful housebreaker if I left my foot prints everywhere.
no subject
Being a housebreaker is awful period, you know. ( Seriously tho. It is. But. This is coming from a little girl who stole from her salamander consorts so. ) Did you actually break into someone's place? I won't tell, promise. Not there's anyone to tattle for goodies anyway.
no subject
Subtle.
[ NO DO YOU HEAR EVERY TINY BIT OF SERIOUSLY IN HER TONE, SHERLOCK. DO YOU? ]

Naturally. Who else would think otherwise?

Besides, there's plenty of reasons anyone should take precautions with you. Even if subtlety isn't one of them.

That's why autobiographies are a shite idea. Hope you never write one, mate. You're off to a bad start already.

Decisively:]
