What would you need so many tails for, though? Don't they get in the way?

[Taku swishes them together, catching one under his paw,] Nope! They mark how many hundreds of years old I am! They are great for balancing!

[ pretty daunting when you haven't quite reached only two years. ]

Yup! [He waves all of his tails again,] But in fox years I'm still kind of a pup!

Um, well. I guess, rolling over isn't so bad sometimes. And, it's hard not to fetch something terrific when you're fond of someone either. Chase is the best, and wrestling, and howling together, though!

But, honestly, I just want to keep someone company, and keep them safe. If I can do something even that small, I think it'd be really great.

When Dale grows up, he wants to be as cute as Toboe. <3

[Although Dale wasn't sure wrestling and howling with wolves would be fun for a chipmunk, the way Toboe spoke so fondly of these things made him feel terrific just hearing about them, as if he'd just got done doing those things and had some good laughter, to boot. He couldn't help but smile warmly.]
