On the journey

We've both come a long way there, haven't we? When we first started, you were unsure and a bit shy; I was still stuck in my own world. Now you're opened up and had the chance to meet a lot of very nice people. I've had the same chance.

[She smiles. Partially to herself, partially to others.]

No matter if it's been hard at times, I don't regret it. I know neither of us does. I want to continue to grow, continue to see a bit more than I thought I would ever get to. Let's not forget the friends that have given us that chance.

I did get the chance to meet a different Ed and Al but things went differently for them. They were happy so...maybe ours are too.

As long as they're together, that's likely enough for them. Any them.

A few. It's amazing. There are things I never knew existed out there.

You seem to be at the center of the uncanny a lot, particularly for an ordinary civilian.

It isn't like I asked to be. This, at least, is enjoyable.

How've you been?

Well. Everything's been as exciting as usual. Recently, we had a virus that let us all go to college. [She laughs.] It was fun.

And you?

[hands4healing]

I haven't been doing very much. [Shrug]

College? Hmm, Ed probably would've liked that! Or argued with the professors and everyone else.

Are you still busy with your shop?

I think all of you would. Al isn't there anymore, either.

[hands4healing]

Oh, yes! [C'mon, Roze, that's almost like asking if she's still breathing. :D]

I'm sorry. Is Mr. Greed still there?

Don't be sorry. You know I'm happy as long as I know you're doing well, even if I miss the chance to talk with you.

[She'll laugh at the memories that question brings.]

He is and he hasn't changed.

I'm glad you're happy, anyway.

[A little sly.] So, tell me - has there been any changes in your life? Are you seeing anyone? [Okay, not so sly.]

[She'll smile, looking almost like a teenager again. You know, instead of her ripe old age of twenty two.]

No, I'm not. There have been a couple of people it seemed to have been leading to possibly more but both of them seemed to lose access.

How about you and Ed? You were gone not long after you were married. It's great, isn't it? [She always assumed marriage life would be amazing.]

Oh, I'm sorry.

[Fond little smile.] We're fine. And it's sometimes a trial, especially when Ed has to run off and do something, but. [She shrugs.]

Then it sounds like he's back to his old self. As glad as I am to hear that, I know it must be hard.

A lot of the danger is gone for him, now, isn't it?

It depends on what you mean by 'danger'. Ed's going to be in the middle of something, one way or another.
