On her potential app to Haven
Don't you have other muses you could torture? Perhaps that young boy with the cat ears that you've been missing lately? Or that dog boy. There's a good girl, you could app him instead of me rather then how you did things the other way round in the post apocalyptic game I'm in. Now you want to put me in potentially a third game and perhaps bring Miss. Potts with me.
I'm noting a flaw in your logic here. Just because Sigyn's mun enjoys me exorbitantly doesn't mean that everyone would. Especially as I bring with me ... issues. Personally I feel you should think on this a bit longer then thirty second.
Oh, and do quit pouting. You're the one who decided that my face in the supplemental looked "stubborn".

And just what are you smirking at Mister Stark?
no subject
Like you have any control over your own mun, sweetheart?

In this case however, it seems I'm outnumbered. At least this time she's taking care to discuss things with Tony's mun. You should come. It's sure to be a real horror flick.
[Yes Howard. She wants you to join in her pain of a horror game.]

[One eyebrow arches up, as he digs into his pocket for his cigarettes.] Well, first question first ... would I get materials to build with?
[Nothing more frustrating to be sent to some place with some tin plating, a screwdriver and spit.]
I misread the AU rules. ;_;
I'm not certain, but I would assume so. Although if you're looking for technology to explore Verdana would have you ecstatic. They have cryogenic stasis pods.
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
[He rubbed his chin thoughtfully at this.] ... what do you need those for?
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
Preservation it would seem. When I awoke in Verdana I was inside one with my belongings in a storage locker to the side. From what I've been told we were all captured by aliens and brought to Verdona for some unknown reason. The technology is far more advanced then I've ever seen, and the ship itself in just ... amazing.
[There's a quiet frown for a moment though seeing as Tony has already tried to relegate her to the hospital as a nurse.]
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
I have a lot of belongings that are personal -- I'm not sure one closet could hold them all. The least of all, my suits. [He rubbed his chin.] Although this technology sounds encouraging ...
[He clicked his tongue against the top of his mouth.]
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
I can't even imagine. He does seem resent you though. I told him he was a fool.
[Really Howard? You're going to assume you bring your whole wardrobe?]
One outfit and the belongings you had on you when you were abducted. You would love the potential though. If your son allows you at the wires. Personally I want to get my hands on the ship's communications array.
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
Yes, well. I blamed my father for everything. Seems to be genetic.
[Of course he was. He was Howard Stark.]
...One outfit. Besides the one I'm wearing? Damn. I can't really be charming in one dirty suit. [He looks thoughtful.] There are ways to get around wires. Pipes, for example.
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
[Silly Howard. He still doesn't understand how this apocalypse thing works.]
No darling, just the one you're wearing, and there's still the ability to wash yourself. They also have alternative clothing. I'm currently wearing a jumpsuit since I arrived in a dress that was rather inappropriate for the weather.
Oh! I haven't told you the best part. There's land that's been ravaged by nuclear fall out. There's a chance to study it in order to reverse the effects.
Re: I misread the AU rules. ;_;
[He made a face at that.]
Marvelous. I guess I'll just have to charm you with the sheer power of my personality.
[His eyes light up.] Oh excellent.
Best mental image ever. Maria turning Tony over her knee ... while he's an adult.
[There's a short pause as she realizes that Howard might actually LIKE that.]
Well, maybe not you.
[His distress at the single clothing situation amuses her.]
You know I like you ever so much more when you're dirty love. I think having only one outfit might improve your chances with me.
A woman who recently made an expedition to the wastelands is making a return visit soon. I'm hoping to tag along to gain samples.
I just snorted.
What can I say? I like strong women.
[Her comment got a laugh out of him.]
You really do prefer it when I'm in my overalls and covered in grease, don't you?
[His dark eyes narrow.] Be careful. I don't like the idea of you out there alone.
My day is complete~ I totally want to see her do it.
[She frowned.]
You didn't wait for me to return from Verdana. [Still frowning she offered him a sidelong look.] She had better have been at least as intelligent as me.
I like it best when you're in your element ... so yes, I prefer you in overalls and covered in grease.
[She lets her fingers wrap around his, kissing his knuckles.]
There will be others. At least the woman I'm speaking with about the expedition. Also, Sigyn's mun has offered for her to teach me to fight. She has dreams of me being a valkery. I don't have the heart to explain that I would only use such skills when absolutely unnecessary.
Re: My day is complete~ I totally want to see her do it.
[He looks wistful.] I'd like to get back to that. Getting down into an engine ...
You should learn to fight. Especially if you're going out without protection.
no subject
I'd like to see you in the engine of that space craft. Hmmm. [She frowns in thought.]
I wonder if there's a way that we could use the heat of the wasteland as a power source.
At present I'm among strangers. I don't plan to put an ad out for a bodyguard. I'd actually love to see your face if I did learn. Well, yours and my mother's. [That thought brings a soft laugh.]
no subject
[Howard's lips quirk up at the edges, faintly.] I'd like to see me in the engine of a space craft, too.
We could, if we could create something to siphon off the heat. It would have to be temperature sensitive.
[He snorts softly.] I'd also give money to see your mother survive in the wastelands.
no subject
[She leans in close and whispers her next words over his ear.]
I'd love to watch you tinkering inside it if only for the view~
[Truh be told she'd probably be right there inside that thing with him rather then just observing.]
Mmm. They have books down in a nearby bunker. I'll have to see what I can get my hands on. I DO wish they'd known more about computers back in our day; I could use a but of hacking knowledge to get into the dome's science research.
Mother wouldn't make it past a day. Honestly, I'd give myself less then a week if I weren't going with a party.
no subject
[He can't help it - he is grinning now. Because honestly she just described some of her worst habits from childhood.]
[... then she pulls his attention to the woman before him now. Mmmm.] I'd love to have you watch me.
[He'd probably prefer it himself. Tinkering aside, those spaces were nice and snug.]
One step at a time, sweetheart. You have to build the frame before you can fly the thing.
[He frowned briefly.] ...I'm really starting to think I should be there.
no subject
I wasn't nearly this bad. The boy is a full out brat!
Well, at the moment I'm only doing my preliminary research. Taking samples and doing the legwork as it were.
Well, I wouldn't complain if you were to show up darling. In fact, I'd probably jump you on the spot~
no subject
Well, he had to have some of me in there somewhere, now didn't he?
Legwork is still valuable. As is research. You know this better than most.
[He chuckled softly.] Really? Full on run?
no subject
So then he gained all our worst traits? No wonder we only had one.
Exactly. Sadly, all the other scientists seem to be either missing or simply not around. I want to speak with doctor Bones about using a small space in his infirmary as a lab.
Really. [She reaches out to take his hand.] Full on run.
no subject
No kidding. But hey, at least he's smart and handsome?
[He frowned faintly, before he nodded his head.]
Seems like they need a scientist, at the very least.
no subject
It would seem so. Although I can't imagine anyone would have anything against two of them?
[that's totally not a subtle hint there.]
no subject
I don't know either, but god who really knows, right?
[He knows that's not subtle. He caught that.]
no subject
[Well here's another pitch for him to catch.]
Especially with one of them as charming as you. I could see you doing well in Verdana.
