Mundane,

While it may be amusing to you that articles relating to the original ACD stories occasionally crop up over the course of your academic research, they will serve neither your portrayal of me, nor your studies. Don't you have better things to do with your time than read irrelevant articles (which are more than likely full of errors anyway)? I happen to know for a fact that you do.

Do at least try to not be an idiot.

And I think you just can't be bothered to act civilized with 'em. [ what what he does what he wants ]

How about because you can.

You'd be a right bastard. And probably be surprised how little it changed anything.

But acting like a decent human being because you can, that just makes for a decent human being.

[ ...shush, Sherlock 8| ] Still working on the list for that one. Hard to say much for it when you spend most of your time getting after criminals.

[ Takes a bit of the optimism out of you, this line of work. You get used to it. ]

[ His team just counts automatically, even though they can act like a bunch of squabbling five year olds when a dead body of mysterious circumstance turns up.

Like it's the best part to be the one figuring it out, pft. (Not that he can talk much, used to be just like that) ]

The curse of being so clever and using it to solve crimes, isn't it? People don't jump right to "guess he's bored."
