[Jake puts his hands on his hips and looks up, as if to address Fon's mun with a cheerful tone.] You don't let him go, got it? Don't let the grumpy talk chase you off. [Even if he threatens to kill you for talking about his father.

He looks back at Fon, flashing a smile equal parts warm and teasing.]

[Fon frowns slightly upon seeing his smile. Who was being grumpy? He definitely wasn't! He was just plainly stating the truth. What would his mun gain by messing around with him when there were already other muses around? He didn't see the point.]
