Retirement? Nope. (possible game spoilers later)
I have no regrets about what happened. There is nothing to be gained from speculating or clinging to false hope. Jak is the hope of our world now, and I know he will succeed.
If it is possible to send me and there is need of my leadership somewhere out there, however, I will lend my aid. There is a certain satisfaction to heroism that I had almost forgotten, is there not?

and Here I am playing jak and daxter, small world
I love them :D but I wanted to try some Damoose
Ah, you're referring to the term for these...other worlds with ongoing conflicts? I might need to participate soon.
I just got the HD collection so im reliving all the nostalgia

How have you fared against it?
no subject
But, I've been fine.
[He's made friends who's protected him and he's been learning how to keep himself safe too.]
no subject
Stay safe. I'm sure there are people who want you with them.
no subject
[You should recognize this voice, Damas...even without fur.]
no subject
[Damas takes the red-headed boy in. Teeth. Goggles. Voice. Wait a minute...]
Have we met?
no subject
Yes. No. Kind of.
no subject
...you really do sound like him. Are you sure you're not related to someone small, fuzzy, and orange?
no subject
Like, the you I know knows me, but not like- [There's a flash of Eco and then, here's the Daxter you know.] -this. To him I'm just an apprentuce monk looking' ta volunteer looking for his son.
no subject
Daxter. So it is you. From another world?
...you're searching for Mar?
no subject
Pretty much. Gets a little confusing though.
But yeah, since I'm probably the only one in Spargus who knows where he ended up.
no subject
[In reality he's pretty...desperate for a clue. In that menacing king trying to stare down Jak's buddy kind of way.]
no subject
He's in the Dark Warrior Program in Haven back where I'm from.
no subject
Does he survive?
no subject
Yeah, an' you've already seen how he turns out my mun says.
no subject
[He's not sure exactly what it is, but he has a guess. An infusion with darkness---dark eco? But the only case of that he knew of was---]
You know something crucial about this world, Daxter. What is it?
no subject
In my story, ya lost him years before I met you though.
no subject
That would be impossible. Time would have to be tampered with for my son to be a young child when I lost him and fully grown three years later. Unless you're saying that's possible.
[Stare. His monks always were finding out the strangest things.]
no subject
[Because all that stuff Daxter doesn't know, but he doesn't dislike Damas and the guy is his best friend's dad. And he died, so he deserves to know right?]
Okay, okay. I think I got it. So, that Velgar guy- [You mean Vegar Dax] -took Jak, lost him, a bunch of crap went down with grown up Jak and the Metal Heads, and little Mar got sent into the past to grow up and then come back to do the stuff with the Metal Heads, but he got captured by the KG for the Dark Warrior Program for two years while the me you know was trying to find and rescue him.
no subject
And if you're telling the truth...he clearly doesn't remember me from then. But he is a fine warrior and a good man, strong enough to overcome the burdens he carries. Do I have you to thank?
[Underneath all the wisecracking, Damas understands that the two are the most loyal and inseparable of friends---at least in his universe. Time to start figuring that out.]
no subject
Nope, he didn't remember anything I guess.
Well, I'd kinda like to think so. I kinda had my own adjustments after my run through the program, but I went back for him ASAP and got him out.
[Daxter'd do anything for his
onlybest friend. Any universe.]no subject
[He looks horrified-then sympathetic-then furious.]
If it is possible for a dead man to die again, I will hunt Praxis down and kill him once more.
But I wouldn't expect anything else from you. You and Jak will do well. I only wish I could help you further.
no subject
[But see, this is part of why Dax likes you Damas. You're a tough guy, but you look out for the people under you...even if they are a bit obnoxious.]
Well, we're working on that in my timeline, so maybe that'll do.
My mun says you did plenty and...okay yeah, I believe her when she says it. Don't judge.
Anyway, ya just might see Jak around here.
no subject
[He looks like he might smile for a moment.]
If only. I wouldn't know where to begin.
no subject
[Putting his hands on his hips he pouts a bit.]
Well, I'd say I know where ta find the one you know, but the mun for him says he's been quiet. So I guess you just start here.
Although. if ya got your mun to apply somewhere, a Jak might turn up.
no subject
I see. I'll definitely consider it.
[After a pause, he spares a smile.]
Thank you, Daxter. You've been entirely helpful.
