It's an odd time to think about ATP, isn't it?

No. You will remain silent for the next...'ATP' as you always have. Do you know what the viewfinders on the fifth level must do to an angel?

*A long blink and a small shake of his head, refocus.*

Pardon..but if you're worried about the viewfinders, we could always just cover them up with paint or warn your friends in advance! We could find a way around it, if someone decided to put your friends in Animus.

[Tohko then sighed and scratched her head.]

Besides..it'd be less lonely for you if Lucifel or Armaros showed up, right? I know I wouldn't mind if Konoha or Ryuto got put in the Tower. Plus..it would be nice to meet them.

That would...mean I would need to learn about them in the game - I haven't seen through one, myself. And even if I had, I'd have...no way of knowing that they'll feel...

*Sigh. Never mind.*

Ah, I see..I've peered through one, and so has an..acquaintance of mine in the game. You feel like everything you were connected to, every person, place, thing, is destroyed, and that there's nothing you can do about it. It's..pretty terrible. However, the feeling does seem to be the same for everyone, so..now we know.

[Another sigh. She'd love to help, and she wants to help, but she's always worried that her word and actions simply won't be enough. She hopes they are..but there's always a tiny little nagging doubt that gets to her sometimes. This is one of those times.]

..It would be pretty bad if they did suffer..however, even though they may suffer if they come to Animus, you can also console each other and try to help each other see through another day. They may get tortured and hurt..but sticking together helps people, especially in extreme conditions.

[Tohko sighed again.] I apologize if that doesn't make much sense..however, you probably don't have to worry. My mun has been looking around for other muns that might play people from your universe, but she hasn't been able to find any active ones.

I'm fairly certain only people who could sense those things in the first place would feel that way...which is why even if I looked through them, I wouldn't be able to warn them.

My mun knows three, and none of them are willing to play there. Their mundanes have that much sense...

[Another sigh. While Tohko has learned something new about angels from his universe, she knows that she'll forget it as soon as she leaves here.]

...Your mun may soon know a fourth who is willing, if my mun actually manages to find more information.

*Enoch stares at Tohko.*

[Tohko sighed and closed her eyes as she spoke.]

My mun, Enoch. Your mun has already gotten my mun interested in the game enough to watch a full playthrough of it. She's just waiting until she can actually play it and get some more information on the series in English. She's thinking about Michael..or maybe Raphael, since she's always liked that angel.

*Enoch's gaze goes to their feet.*

[Tohko nodded and opened her eyes, sighing.]

Pretty determined. Once something really catches her eye, she doesn't lose interest in it. This seems to be one of those things. Your only hope is that something else catches her eye..but that might not be enough to drive her away.

Mine's the same way...

*He echoed the sigh, not looking up.*

[Tohko gave a small smile, worried that this information might not help him out.]

..Enoch, the Michael in here is pretty small and is still developing, but he's never blamed you. In fact, he wants to thank you. If my mun had never seen you, he wouldn't have been able to exist in my mun's head. He's also..pretty sorry about what happened to your during your journey. If Raphael were in here, he'd probably feel the same way.

[And about his brother's fall, but that's something better left for another day.]

*Pause while he thinks of that and the information his mun's shown to act on regarding the rest of his canon.*

...they'll be coming from from the tenth chapter or beyond, then?

[Tohko nodded.]

They'll be coming in from the end of the game..or maybe even a bit later.

*He won't live up to their expectations. He's still stuck in the seventh chapter with the worst of his doubts, and with the effects of more than half a year in a horror game, to boot. At least it isn't Lucifel. He wouldn't know how to deal with disappointing him that way.*

[Tohko sighed.]

I am sorry that I have to be the bearer of bad news..but don't worry. You'll be fine. You won't disappoint them. Didn't I already say that the Michael in here-even though he is tiny-is sorry about what happened during your journey?

*Enoch looked up now.* I didn't say anything about disappointment out loud. Perhaps my mundane should mark her narration better.

[Tohko shook her head.]

Ah, no, your mundane is fine! I didn't see her narration. While you didn't say anything about disappointment, I thought that's how you might feel if they popped into the Tower. After all..I would probably feel a little bit worried about disappointing them to, if I was in your situation. It's not your mundane..it's just me trying to step into other people's shoes again. I'm sorry.

Don't apologize for something like that. Empathy should never be apologized for. I only...I didn't think my situation was so apparent.

Ah..alright then. And I admit, it probably isn't that apparent if you don't think about it..but I'm a book girl. I've read quite a few things, and in order to fully understand characters sometimes, you have to step into their heads. It's the same way with people. In order to fully understand them, you have to put on their shoes and think about how they might feel. Of course, trying on shoes isn't quite like the actual experience..but it does help you understand the person, even just a little bit.

[Plus, while she did fail at understanding people sometimes, this small skill helped her fake how 'delicious' normal food was.]

*...Why was he getting lectured on empathy, of all things?*

Tohko, I know all of this.

*Better than most people he'd met, in fact, and with literature as Tohko knew it mostly nonexistent. If he knew the turn of phrase, he'd have outright told her she was preaching to the choir here. He couldn't help but laugh.*

Your sense of empathy needs some maturing yet, if you find yourself slipping into being a teacher of subjects that don't need to be taught.

[Tohko chuckled nervously and scratched her head.]

Ah, sorry! I forget who I'm talking to sometimes. I guess I've still got some ways to go, but I'm pretty sure I'll catch up one of these days.

[At least, she hoped so.]

*Enoch smiled easily.* I'm sure you will. But be careful; this is one of those skills that can't be focused too hard on.

[Tohko returned the smile and nodded.]

Right, I understand. It has to come naturally. Don't worry, I'll be careful.
