[There was a pause as he tried to act at least a little brave. He didn't think he knew this person, but it was truly hard to tell considering the fact that he couldn't see facial features on the person speaking with him. But he wasn't going to lie to himself over the fact that the person knowing who he was was a bit...unsettling.]

[He was starting to get a bit worried, after all this person was speaking nonsense in Brian's eyes. The only person he knew that looked kind of like the Observer was Alex but Alex wasn't that crazy.]

[That does make him flinch slightly at the word; he knew of it to a degree. Mostly from what his mundane explained to him but there was another part of him; the hooded figure that took over every now and then and while he didn't remember any of the time as the hooded man in the videos his body definately did. His body flinching, him wincing slightly, his teeth momentarily clenching as if to hold back anger while his mind remained blank as to why.
One thing he did know about it is that Alex was working for it; that it had somehow managed to show up while they were at that abandoned building.]

[Even the hooded side that wakes up when he is asleep doesn't want to work for the Operator. Every part of him knew this, he would not allow himself to become a puppet on strings for that thing. He would make sure he didn't just become a vessel for something that wasn't human. He didn't want to hurt anyone, he didn't want to work for something that would possibly kill someone like Alex had nor did he was to frighten people; he was friendly, he enjoyed people, he loved being in crowd- he couldn't picture harming anything let alone another human that was once in his place. He just slowly shook his head.]

[Being free of Operator would be nice he had to admit but- he wanted to continue living. He needed to find the ARK or wherever Jay was supposed to lead them to; apparently it was the safe place, a place free of the Operator.]
If I continue fighting I may some day break free.

[Well he doesn't know of anything more powerful than that thing so he's worried this could end up completely hopeless. He's an optimist through and through but the longer he was going through this thing the more hopeless it appeared to him. He still forced himself not to give up, he needed yo survive, he needed to get out of this alive.]
