Not at all, I'm designing a program reduce the need for disk defragmentation.

Well, I'm really twice my age when you think about it.

Once I sell it. Then I can help my own family too.

You are? I suppose if you're as young as you feel, you can be as old as you feel, too.

That's a good reason to do anything, helping your family. I'm sure they'll appreciate what you're doing.

They're don't really understand. I'm just a freak to them.

Why not? I'm always going to be twice my age compared to anyone else.

Because all the time you sleep, I'm learning. So I'm getting twice as much information as a regular person. Therefore, I'm twice as old.

Nope. I haven't slept since I was born. I don't get tired either. Unless I do a hell of a lot of running!

I don't think that would add to your age. It would help you become the youngest scientist or computer programmer, just about anything, though.

That's a bit strange, even to me, but I don't think that makes you a freak.

That's a good way to reason it. So that means you'll live twice as long as other humans.

I don't think you're a freak. Everybody is different. It's entirely possible that you're another step forward in human evolution.

I would hope I do, I'm a scientist. I work with the Air Force.

Cool! Sounds like a lot of fun. Do you get to fly too?

Yeah, I do. I was a pilot during the Gulf War. Most of my work now is scientific in nature, though.
