on looking for a game to put him in
Hey, here's a thought — no way. From one cage to another, are you kidding me? This isn't even a discussion, there's nothing to discuss about. I'm not going.
What would I even do, it's not like I can just pick up where I left off in pre-med and get back to having a life, can I?

[As in maybe none of the other angels will want to pull your feathers out one by one out of sweet vengeance.
Anna is so nice.]

You're Anna. You're one of them. The angels. Your whole war got me in this mess in the first place.
no subject
I gave up on all that a long time ago, until Heaven saw fit to drag me back in and ruin my happy little slice of pie life too.
Topped off with torture and brainwashing. Do not associate me with them.

You gonna throw a molotov at me like the other one did? Or just crush up my insides with cancer, because one was fun.

Michael is no longer in you so I have no quarrel with his vessel. If you want I would be happy to zap you right back to your home and let you stay there.
mother of god i need better icons for my sanity's sake
[ If it was always that easy then Adam would like to have the whole thing rewound, do it all over again and just say no. ]
What was the point of all that in the first place?
i understand this feel =3=
[Okay, Anna laughs genuinely at that because hell. She can sympathize.]
Like all the people who cross the Winchester's path, you were... collateral damage. Plan B. The point was Dean said no and Michael being the asshole he is destroyed your life instead.
...and I am sorry, because if I had succeeded in my own plans none of it would have happened at all.
WHY ARE THERE NO ADAM ICONS at this rate i'll just make my own
Plan B sucks. Just for the record.
What was your plan, anyway? How's one angel gonna take down the whole heavenly army? Because I heard that other angel with the trench coat tried, you don't get Michael riding you dry without overhearing some things.

And.. sorry about Castiel throwing that Molotov at you as well.
no subject
You're his vessel? That... you know, the other guy.
no subject
Yeah, I am. Jimmy Novak. Hi there.
[ .. ]
And you're.. Adam, right? Or was it Andy..

[ Is there an equivalent of holy water for demons that works on angels? Demon tears? Anything? ]
So what's your story?
no subject
[ it would be cool if that actually worked. You should definitely try it out some time and share the results. The sigils work well enough though. ]
I had a little too much faith, got a little too bored and then the angel came along. My wife and kid thought I was crazy, yadda yadda, and then I said yes to Cas. And then a lot happens after that. And eh, I don't know much of yours, even if I was half-awake— care to explain what happened to you?

Well, I got eaten by a thing. After that, apparently my monster double went and called John's phone and got the Winchesters into town. That put me on the radar, so to speak.
Zachariah brought me back from the dead as Michael's back-up, kind of like how the other guy was Lucifer's back-up. It went downhill from there, really. I think you remember some of that?
[ Just gonna leave out the part where Dean picked Sam back at that heaven foyer place thing, because that still kind of stings bad. ]
no subject
I'd say your story is a whole lot more interesting than mine. But I do remember, as much as I wish I didn't.
.. It might not mean much to you, but I'm sorry you were dragged into this whole thing.
[ oooh that time was hard to forget. An angel carving a vigil into your chest and then using it isn't the most pleasant experience ]
no subject
Yeah, I'm sorry, too. I'm sorry about my mom more than I am for me, to be honest.
How's your family doing?
no subject
Understandable.
I-- I don't know. I have no clue where they've gone, no way of contacting them.. [ he shrugs. ] Probably for the best. I'd just be putting them in danger.
no subject
...Except that's incredibly naive of me to even say, right. Jesus.
—Can I even say that? Jesus is real, isn't he?
no subject
I like to believe he is, but considering everything that's happened.. [ shrugs. ] Anything's possible.

[ The other guy lit him on fire, that's a shallow reason - the less shallow one would be that Castiel was one of them, the angels, the ones who dragged him out of a relatively peaceful afterlife just to throw him back into the fray of the living and end up in Hell.
Caught between the mighty anger of Michael and the twisted values of Lucifer, catching the brunt of boredom when Sam wasn't being actively flayed apart from the soul outwards - now there's something that leaves a mark on you.
It's not that he doesn't want to forgive, but he got left behind down there. It's a sticking point. ]
You're not as hellbent, excuse the phrasing.

[ There's something familiar about her in a way familiar faces are, Adam just can't pin it down. ]
no subject
[ For a moment she's indignant, but then she suddenly becomes much more concerned. ]
Adam, it's me. Sam? Don't you remember?
no subject
[ And did he actually say that, because awkward. ]
Seriously, who are you.
no subject
As it is she just frowns at him as she shakes her head. ]
I'm Sam. Estranged half-sister? Who else would I be?
no subject
And we met how, again? I'm pretty sure I'm remembering things differently than you do right now, no offense.
no subject
Also, let me know your secret. Cause mine sure as hell won't listen to me.
no subject
What about you, though? You have a pre-shit backstory?
no subject
[shrug.]
It's not much of a story compared to most Winchesters. It's just that point that she'll take me from. Reliving the moment I died got old the first time it happened. You know, the actual time? Didn't really need to relive it three different times to get the picture.
[A pause, and then:] You said cage. Did you mean...that cage?

[ He's assuming she's a hunter, the way Bobby and Sam and Dean are hunters, and he assumes she knows because she's gotten in the crossfire any number of times because that's what a hunter's life seems to be like. Adam wouldn't know, he died before all of that came into his life. ]
Death's a weird thing, though, isn't it? You think it's just... lights and dying, but it's just you being dead. Afterlife's not what it's chalked up to be.
no subject
[You can thank her mun, and one of her games for that. Chuck knowing all things is pretty great. But that's a pretty accurate assumption to make there, Adam, seeing as it's correct.]
You're telling me. It's even weirder when you're not there yet, but other's...are. Or have been. [It's even weirder when no one seems to know where you went, or are going. They say Heaven in one place and in another it's 'we couldn't find you'. And when you know an Angel who can't find God? Well. Complicated just barely covers it.]
no subject
Then there's the memes.

Well, that and the mun's one of those who likes playing things-turned-people.

I see you got out too. Guess we really can't have anything nice to last around here.

I'm not the one who wanted to fight, Adam.
