Of course I miss it. It was better to me than Lima ever was. I wouldn't call that hot-ass mess a home unless I meant it.

But it's been a long time. Things are bearable here. Not great, but have they ever been? If I go back to Death City, and it's been over a year...

It might not be the same, that's all I'm saying. Seeing everyone here move on with their lives is bad enough, I don't need to repeat it over there.

It's a lot better than it sounds. [It took her a while to get past that, herself.] It was dangerous sometimes, but I loved it.

Some scrapes and bruises. [True, technically. No need to mention that there were a few (a lot of) close calls. She turned out okay!] We're in a war against the witches over there, things can get dangerous sometimes. We look out for each other, though.

It's only been a month or two back home. Nothing has changed. [ beat. ] Except Guy-sensei was sent home, and a carnival crashed into the outskirts of town and now you can go there wherever.

[If it were anyone but Tenten telling her this, she wouldn't even believe it. Gai was the first person she met when she arrived in Death City, and while their relationship had...ups and downs, he had done so much for her. For a while, he was the only one she really trusted.

I'm sorry. That really sucks. I can't imagine how that place can function without him. Other than at a much more reasonable volume.

It's not too bad. We've been divvying up the morning training duties but we're still trying to find a way how to properly organize it. It's like that one tall guy from your home that you kept telling me about, how generally lost he is. [ She understands what Santana and Guy had. Even if it was kinda rocky, they were still there for each other. ] BREW's been taking people left and right. It's almost desensitizing me. I'm glad you're at a much better place now. What's Louisville like? Where is it anyways? [ wait until she learns Santana is in Kentucky... Right after she discovers what a Kentucky is. ]
