So I've heard. Mun's been listening to the Broadway take for the past week now, sort of half the reason for going and bringing me up to speed on the times.

It's been ages since my mun saw the movie but it's still a classic. Did you know that one guy went on to be Batman?

That's what she said, I ain't gonna believe it though, not our Jack.

Oh believe it. He can do one handed push ups too.

Eh, that part I believe. Jackie always was one for keepin' fit.

Heh, that's funny, my name's Jackie. Though really it's Jacqueline, but that's just too long.

Yeesh, and it's one of those names everybody gets wrong, yeah?

I mean, hell, at least 'Spot's hard to mistake for anything else.

Exactly, and that isn't the half of it. My full name is Jacqueline Ann Hayes-Spencer. The spelling alone is just too difficult for any normal human beings. Jackie is much easier.

Spot is easy to remember. And you've got that nifty Brooklyn accent too.

Eh, maybe. But bein' tough is kind of a prerequisite to bein' a newsie.

Bike messenger too, from what I hear.

Eugh, yeah. Bike messengers take a lot of flack. I wouldn't want that job for anything.

'Parently I don't mind it, what I was born to do, same as bein' a newsie.

Hey, if the job fits, go for it. I was an airline stewardess for awhile but it was too stressful. So now I'm serving smoothie and health drinks at a place near the beach.

You get the same kind of entitlement-issue customers that the coffee shops get?

You know, the ones with a laundry list of add-ons and preparation stipulations, the ones who just know you're going to get it wrong, and the world is going to end if you do.

Oh those. Tall, decaf, extra foam, non-fat creamer, blah blah blah. Yeah, we do. But I like a challenge. And I have great memory recall. Runs in the Spencer family.

Yeah, them. Sounds like you probably do pretty well for yourself with them all, though.

Well, we've been trying to come up with some new flavors. Let me tell you, never order orange and peppermint together. The results are not tasty at all.

Well that just sounds like a recipe for disaster.

It's like drinking toothpaste.

Orange and pineapple is decent though. Anything pineapple is the bomb.

Eh, maybe it makes me some kind of heathen, but I'm not a fan of pineapple.
