As much as I appreciate your interest in my ventures, mun, I think you're missing the point. The way I see it, you'd be better off expressing your interest in someone else. You've got enough other "characters" for that, anyway.

I don't want any problems, here, so if you insist, I guess I have no choice but to try and work with you. It might make an uneasy partnership, though.

Oh she's much, much nicer. Everyone in our town liked Jocelyn. She acts like a lady is supposed to.

I don't think Jocelyn has ever done that before. All she used to do was sit with my mother and knit things to sell. She doesn't know things about stars or horses or magic like I do.

I had to explain to Mr Boots very carefully that he needed to be very kind to Jocelyn and take care of her for always. Horses don't understand that sort of thing.

I do find it hard to believe that a man who used to be a horse would know how to have a relationship, but stranger things have happened.

He is better at it than I expected him to be. He must love her quite a lot.

People say that love is always good but sometimes I think it makes people do things they know are wrong. I think my mother loved my father even though she shouldn't have.

I can't say I have.

I don't know. It's very complicated.

It is. Most adults don't think about things this seriously.

I think about a lot of things. I'm lucky because I didn't have to go to school so I had a lot more time to think about things.

School is often a waste of time.

[horseish]

No one else was lucky like me. I got to learn to read and write with my mother. Rosie never got to learn.

Maybe she'll teach herself. I know some people that didn't learn until much later.
