On recent plots and a great Revel
Mundane.
I believe the word you are looking for "unimpressed". Not "disappoint".
Amusing, what petty little thing all of you are, what cruelty to visit upon even fictional beings, how you seem determined to prove Lucifer had a point about you - though given your feelings I suppose you wouldn't see that as a bad thing.
No, finding out where my Father has been hiding of late does not fall into the "pros" side of the list. There really was not much of a benefit to your plotting, other than to induce trauma.
That goes for you and your cohorts but they are not within my ability to speak to. Do try to allow us for a calm passing of winter, as you keep pleading for your own life.

Problems, little brother?
no subject
And pardon but what are you?]
I don't believe we've met.
no subject
Unknown to you, little one, but, well, I've known others. My name is Lily... sort of.
no subject
She's not Leviathans, which is only slightly reassuring.
So he just watches.]
Lily.
no subject
Indeed, Raphael.
no subject
Fine.

[She turns and presents crystal carafes of apple brandy, apple wine, pomegranate wine and of course, grape wine.]

[She pours herself a glass of pomegranate wine.]
So, what is the problem?
no subject
[Beyond 'Father disappeared for a couple thousand years'?]
no subject
[And usually Luke gets her into all sorts of shenanigans.]
Father has ever been available to us, at least in my world.
no subject
[It's not quite snarled, not sarcastic. It's just sharp, ringing.]
God abandoned Heaven. We sought Him out, we pleaded with Him to return.
And we've just now found out where He has been hiding, for the last thirty years.
[How utterly betrayed he feels is something he still hasn't proceeded.]
no subject
Abandoned?
[The word's incredulous. She can't quite wrap her head around it.]
But even when Lucifer meddled and created demons, all he had to do was ask and Father appeared and offered a hand. There... I cannot fathom a Father who would abandon His sons so cruelly.

Lucifer He locked away, Caged. Later, He left Heaven, refused to speak to any of us, save Joshua and even then...
He left us with nothing. A universe to run, no Orders as how to do so...
Something Godless.
[His voice almost snaps, like a thread pulled too taunt.]
And He was hiding as a prophet, under our noses, and He stood by. Watched...
Did nothing.
no subject
Caged? I cannot imagine my husband caged.
[Well, except that one time, but that was completely separate.]
Our Father abandoned the Throne Room, but that was because Lucifer's face print was on the steps.
[She looks at him, golden eyes soft, sad, caring.]
Your Father sounds unnecessarily cruel, as humans often accuse Him of being.
no subject
Though he does focus on the 'my husband' part.]
Lilith?
[Ok, that gets a headtilt out of him.
But...]
He's still my Father.
[It's a slight warning - she's not someone who is allowed to be critical of God.]
no subject
She inclines her head just slightly.]
I am Lilith, wife to Lucifer, Mother of the Triad, and the first Female Created by Father.
[She leaves the rest alone, heeding the warning.]
no subject
[He's not able to understand what he's feeling, and so more likely to lash out first and figure it out later, if ever.]
no subject
[she sips her wine and headtilts at him.]
What happened?
no subject
[Hence the Cage.]
no subject
Cain.
[The name is whispered and sad.]
He did that, in our world, with Cain. He was not sure how far to go, and Lucifer is ever given to excess. It was with Cain that he created demons, and incurred Father's wrath.
[And his faceprint on the steps before the Throne.]
no subject
[Because his completely did.]
no subject
Sometimes, that line breaks, and he must be reminded.
[Usually by her unless Father feels the need to step in.]
But no. He meant no harm. And he regrets. Even now, he regrets.
no subject
[He doesn't know, doesn't understand, what flipped in Lucifer to make his compassion shift to cruelty.]
But he says that he is what he is because God wanted him to be.
[He doesn't know if he believes that. But he also understands the logic.]
no subject
[It's a fundamental understanding that she has of their Father.]
And even with Michael's temper, or Lucifer's pride, or Gabriel's absentminded cruelty, Raphael's unmeaning willful ignorance - my Raphael, not you - we are as we were meant to be.
