[The shoo-ing initially irritates Jack. He hates being dismissed or ignored and even after fighting Pitch, becoming a Guardian, and gaining believers, he's not yet at the point where it's no longer a sore spot. But the only reaction he has to it is a brief twitch of annoyance on his face, one that's quickly chased away by a cocky grin.]

[Flipping backwards off of his staff, he lets it drop, only to use his foot to flip it back up into his hands. He stands there with Bunny, staff pointed at Pitch, ready for a possible fight.]

Do we really need a reason? Other than him existing?

[Jack will never, ever forget Pitch's threat of snuffing out a light. He will never forget Jamie's fear in that alley. When it comes to Pitch, the Guardians aren't really all about compassion and hugs and second chances.]

[He quirks a brow at the two of them and soon shrugs, his hands folding behind his back.]

[Unfortunately for Pitch, he happened to stumble on two of the more hot-headed Guardians and they're not really of the mind to let someone go just because they haven't done anything right now. Before, Jack might've let Pitch walk away if he hadn't been doing anything. Now, after everything, he's giving into the urge to try to kick him in the face every time he sees him.]

Sorry, we're fresh out of pacifism. Not really our thing, when you get down to it.

I mean, you have seen North, right? Swords are for stabbing, in case you haven't noticed - not for gently prodding bad guys into rehabilitation.

[Just because they protect nice things, love kids, and aren't keen on killing doesn't mean they won't kick some booty at the first opportunity. Pitch threatened the children. That means he's pretty much permanently public enemy number one on their shitlist.]
