Getting in betwen a Yandere and her beloved..

Mun, what do you think you're doing? While I do enjoy helping people, isn't getting me involved with a..yandere a little dangerous?

...Even if this is supposed to be a cruel horror game, throwing me around like this isn't good. What if she decides to kill me right before someone decides to torch the library? It's getting cold over there. They may do it. Plus..getting involved with them may spill my secrets. Too many people know about my true self already. While I'm glad that most of them have been kind, eventually, someone is going to toss the stone if they keep finding out. Do a better job at keeping that under the cover!

..And if my second secret is shown..then that won't hurt just me. That will hurt someone else in the long run, and if that gets out, then I won't be able to forgive you or myself. Or this..yandere. So, keep me away from her. Please? I can help her boyfriend though. Her boyfriend seems nice..but not the girl. So..be careful.

...I probably don't. While I would like to avoid your girlfriend, my mun seems determined to toss me towards her and watch the sparks fly. It would be better if I just met up with you..but she seems to enjoy the idea of me getting tortured.

That's true..however, you could tell her that I don't love you. We could both tell her. Or, you could say that I've just been annoying you and that you don't see me as a friend. Someone else in the Tower had that reaction to me. It wouldn't be surprising if you did.

She won't. Nobody knows me like Yuno does, she wouldn't believe that I'd be mean to someone for no reason. [ Yukki can come off as introverted, withdrawn, and possibly indifferent at worst, but he's usually never outright mean. As for Yuno... well, there were several adjectives you could use to describe her and most of them would be accurate, but 'stupid' wasn't one of them. Paranoid, yes. But not stupid. ]

Don't blame yourself, Tohko. Believe me, learning to deal with her was mostly trial and error, but... I love her.

T-that's true, I suppose..however, I'd hate if people thought I was a goblin or a monster or an Oba Yozo. That probably doesn't make any sense..but it would be terrible to me.

Considering we have to deal with actual monsters, I doubt anyone's going to get like that. Besides, whatever it is, I'm sure it's better than 'my job is to try to reset universal time, causing tons of suffering along the way'.

That might be true..and what you have to deal with is a lot worse than what I have to. I'm not disputing that.

However..if I can, I would like to help her too. And even though I'm not sure why she would see me as a threat, if he can convince her that I'm not while I back him up..then she might back off. I'm not sure if my words will reach her though. She may just ignore them..

I will..however..it's not like I enjoy using them as fuel. I've been trying to cut back on how much I use them, as it seems that the library has been slow to restock this month. It may stop restocking altogether until January. And..isn't there some wood in the forest that people could burn instead?

[Hypocritical? Yes. However, the thought of Tohko's precious books being burned is rather painful to her. Even if she does eat them.]

Mm. Do remember that one forest floor is home to dangerous animals, and the other will disable a person's powers. Also, they will be wet with snow and the books in the library will be dry. It's all right, if they use some to stay alive. I'd rather they use the wood in the forest, or paper from the workshop, but...if they must. As long as nobody goes through our belongings for fuel.

Ah..you're right. I'm sorry..I completely forgot about the animals and..and I didn't know about the power-disabling. I'm sorry. Wet wood is pretty hard to light..and it's not like we have time to wait for the wood to dry.

However..if there's stuff in the workshop they can use, or things on other floors, I would rather people used those things instead of burning the books. And we can make thick robes and the like for people. I'm average at sowing..but I could try and help.

[And Tohko gives a weak smile at the last sentence.] Sadly, I wouldn't put it past one of the residents to steal other people's belongings and burn them.

Mm...my new roommate is rather resourceful with magic. Perhaps I could ask him if there was some sort of enchantment he could put on our trunks.

Oh, it's no trouble. Don't worry about it! I wasn't aware of the term at first either. My mun has been throwing it around lately. It's basically a girl who looks cute and sweet on the outside, but is usually just insane and controlling on the inside.

These sorts of girls will kill any competition they see, and if their loves try to leave them, they will kill their beloved before killing themselves. At least, that is one way the trope can be used.

Does that make any sense at all?

This isn't romantic at all! It makes it hard for me to be friends with her boyfriend, and it closes him off from anyone who wants to be friends..and it makes him sad, scared..and probably lonely. It's not romantic at all!

Oh, I beg to differ. What is romance, after all, but emotions running so rampant that nothing, neither law nor sense, can restrain them? Whoever bears the brunt of that girls affections must be fortunate indeed, to know such fiery passion in their all too brief lives.

But no matter how much fire that girl has in her, if she doesn't respect her lovers wishes and desires-to have friends and close connections other than her-then it will just be a fire that burns everything and hurts everyone rather than warming her and her love.

Any relationship has to be balanced. If you kill people because you think they're 'in the way' and ignore what your love might think, then you're just being selfish and hurting people.
