Okay, I gotta ask- and this isn't so much an about the pain in my neck who calls herself a write, but kinda a general question- the fuck is it with superhero types and names?  Or is this seriously just a thing for folks who pal around with bats?  I mean, I'm in an alternate dimension where pretty much no one knows who I am, why can't I tell a girl I maybe kinda sort of have a thing for my real name?

I mean, hell, it sure isn't a secret back home, least not after I bite the big one.  Every cape and their mother knows my name, so why am I second guessing every other thing I tell this girl, like it's gonna blow the Big Secret.  I mean, any of our big bads comes rolling in and they can.  

Fucking see me talking to people I care about in the fucking mask, oh fuck you, this is a really fucking belated realization to hit on.

Yeah, it sort of is. But, sometimes, people who matter are actually smart enough to figure it out. And even in strange places, there are reasons to keep to doing things as you do.
