As a matter of fact I'm not too keen on the idea of any sort of imprisonment. I have had my fill of that quite enough, and while my bit of reprieve from them has been boring, I am more than happy to continue on in boredom if I must stay away from it.

I can muster up some form of entertainment if I must to stay out of another "game".

As long as their gaze lingers upon you, I'm certain you'll be cast off to another "game" soon enough.

Their interest in a new permanent prison for me has waned considerably over the months, especially after letting me go from the last.

Not to say she does not still enjoy my company, but I've become a bit of a problem to play for her, so it seems. Though viewings of my past do seem to have her more inclined to have a go at me once again, I cannot say it will last long.

But it is always nice to get out once in a while.

Then count yourself as fortunate.

[He's certainly a sir, but Charles is not sure what kind of a sir. He's seen some strange things in the games he's been in, but never what this "man" is. Still, he seems polite enough.]

[Though the practiced smile Charles gives is a bit tight. Misery was certainly company he kept lately, but he tried not to let it become overbearing. It was easy to get lost in it otherwise.]

[ A humored chuckle escaped Seymour as he regarded this man. Despite all of his belly aching, this fellow seemed charming enough. The fact he didn't just point and stare at him earns him a place in Seymour's good graces. ]

[ He chuckled once more. ] I am Maester Seymor Guado, an avid practitioner of the Yevon faith.

[He's seen races from other planets and women who can turn into diamonds. Strange looking people are not as shocking as they may have been some time ago. You're not the strangest thing he's seen now, Seymour, this is a good thing.]

Professor Charles Xavier. A pleasure, Maester... would it be Maester Guado? Or Maester Seymor? [He doesn't want to be rude and say it the wrong way after all. Better to get it straight from the horses mouth and get it right the first time.]

I must say, I've read of many religions and faith, but Yevon is not one I've heard of. Is it singular only to your home?

[ Such a comforting thought that is. ] I care not for titles, but I care enough to introduce with one. Therefore, please feel no need to refer to me as "Maester", at least here.

[ A professor? How scholarly. It would seem there's more to this man than what meets the eye. ]

Perhaps. Spira is a world unlike any other that is deep rooted in both culture and despair.

Seymour it is then. And I am quite comfortable with just Charles myself. [He'd just figured one title for another title was only fair. But he got enough of being called professor by the children anyway.]

And is Yevon the only practiced faith on Spira? [Because that would be fascinating. Earth of course had many religions and varying faiths that it did cause quite the stir with people. Though he would imagine having only one central faith on a whole world could cause trouble too. Seymour did say something about despair after all.]

Why do you feel it would be unwise?

My mundane's interest has waned much when it comes to games. There is plenty she enjoys about them, but all in all she's slowed down in activity and it does not work well for that setting.

I think it would be best for her to stick with things she can do at her own pace and leisure.

[The mention of 'little men' has a curious Charles wanting to look into her mind to find out things about her, but he'll be a gentleman and ask. Though his mundane says he should know who she is.]

From the little my mundane has read it does seem to be a nice place, better than the last I had been at. More sunlight that much I can say. [Since Abax had had no sunlight. Ever.]

And who might your little men be, miss? I'm sure they are around some where, possibly here. It does seem all sorts end up here at some point.

Oh it is! Well, right now, the whole village has been turned into a gingerbread village! A... Hansel and Gretel event, my writer says to mention. And soon there will be snow everywhere!

Well! Their names are Doc, Bashful, Sneezy, Happy, Sleepy, Grumpy, and Dopey! Have you seen them? I think they will be horribly worried about me!

Idling inside your mun's head isn't fun at all! Especially for a mind like yours. She should totally pay more attention to you, it's only fair!

Well to be fair, there are many others in here with me, but I do agree a bit of attention would be favorable once in a while.

Well, it's not like, she should abandon those many others for you! But leaving you behind is a little too much, I think... Learn to share, Charles-mun!

She does try not to leave me behind, to be fair, but it can get difficult at times when she should be focusing on certain people who are actually in a game at the moment.

I just happen to be a bit of a stubborn one, not wanting to be forgotten. We'll work something out eventually.

You say that as if it was a bad thing. Not wanting to be forgotten is only natural, if you ask me. Who could like that?

Aha, no no, quite the opposite really. I think I have had a thorough enough beating with the experience I suffered through in the game I had been in not long ago. While I might complain of stagnation, at least it is a small reprieve from that prison of a game I'd been in.

[It's a ~~mad~~ small world.]

They do have a thing for seeing some of us in extreme amounts of distress. It's rather disturbing, actually. [And coming from Mystique...] But it's good that you're not in that sort of situation currently. Maybe you'll stay that way.
