It's not that I don't appreciate the work that went into getting me new icons. The five minutes it took you to save scans from the manga and crop them must have been exhausting, I'm sure.

But can I just ask one thing?

Oh, don't worry about it. Being dead isn't nearly as bad as you'd expect. Certainly much less troublesome than the actual process of dying. That part was rather unpleasant.

And if anything, my afternoon can't exactly get much worse after "abrupt demise."

I should like to think I could manage a simple thing like dying competently. And I assure you that I did as thorough a job as I was able. Surely you all found the body eventually, didn't you?

As for why I'm here now? Who can say. I'm choosing to think of it as some sort of bizarre afterlife.

If this is afterlife then that would mean I died too, which is not the case. You are off the target.

Tell me about it. This wasn't supposed to be how it was at all. [ Ryuuko was supposed to be here, for one. Not to mention the carrier of Shirogane's dark factor. But Sawaki keeps that to himself. Mentioning Ryuuko's name is likely to bring the wrath of the king down on his head, and he hasn't the energy for that at all. ]

In any case. If not dead, then rest assured I am at the very least blissfully retired now. Hardly anyone to be suspicious about.
